90 Stopped in for beers and we had drafts of delirium tremens, le fin du Monde, Chimay Cinq and Pliny the Elder. Nuff said. They had things to eat. I can’t recommend the food, the draft list is why you have to come here. |
90 Visited on 3rd November 2019. Large beer hall. Huge single room, nice decor, got a nice booth and ploughed through some beer. Great range of local stuff plus some classics. Prices were good. Service was excellent. Only gripe is the lack of small pours. Great bar otherwise. |
86 Located downtown, next to Coors Field. Solid selection of craft and bottled beer. Food is tasty and reasonably priced. Good ambiance and OK service. One knock would be lack of flights, with the great tap selection. |
90 Does everything you'd expect the top rated beer place in such a great beer city to do. Tons of local stuff but I live on the west coast and haven't seen most of it. Crowded and a bit of a shitshow but this is a world-class beer bar and has earned its rating. |
84 Pretty large place in Denver downtown, patio outside. Lots of beer stuff on the walls. Also lots of taps, lots of classical ones, but also I've managed to find several interesting brews no to be seen in other bars. Quite good and bit pricey bottle list. Friendly service, good prices. As Joe said wouldn't call it a beer geek heaven, but a very good classical beer place. |

86 A Denver classic with a constant list of solid offerings. It's very much a bar before it's a beer bar, and beer geeks should know this. Food is ok. |
88 Awesome spot. Dive bar vibe with 60ish taps showing great range of local, regional and national gems. Some filler. Food was solid, service was great. Loved it. |
88 Visited July 2016. A pretty impressive tap list, blew me away to be honest. Deciding what to sample was tricky! Great bar, nice ambience too |
84 In downtown Denver, decorated with old beer bottles, many of them. Large selection of taps all different varieties, but there seem to be an extra abundance or IPAs and a lack of sour/saisons. Bottle list is spectacular, one of the best I've ever seen, many vintages of some very unique beers, expensive but most are worth it. Food was just ok, burger was gordon food service quality and sloppy. Bar tender knew beer pretty well, but didn't have deep knowledge. |
