56 AMBIANCE 2/5 SERVICE 5/10 SELECTION 10/15 FOOD N/A VALUE 3/10 OVERALL 11/20 Alphadelic (56) Portland, Oregon | December 18, 2012 A little pricey by absolutely worth stopping by. The beer is brewed so close by it’s remarkably fresh and the selection is great. | 64 AMBIANCE 4/5 SERVICE 8/10 SELECTION 8/15 FOOD N/A VALUE N/A OVERALL 12/20 theisti (357) Leawood, Kansas | June 25, 2012| Updated June 28, 2012 Located across from Gate A20. Arrived early for a flight and had three hours to kill. This place suited the purpose perfectly. This is a typical airport bar setup, though it is nice and open to the terminal. They had 9 different Harpoon beers on, including 2 or 3 seasonal / special offerings. All beers served in proper glassware, which is a nice touch for an airport location. Also, they offered a four beer sampler that had ~6 oz pours ($9.99), which was quite nice. Food is basic soup, app, burger options. Overall, an above average airport brewery tap. | 60 AMBIANCE 2/5 SERVICE 8/10 SELECTION 7/15 FOOD N/A VALUE N/A OVERALL 13/20 KyotoLefty (351) Kyoto, Japan | July 18, 2010| Updated June 28, 2012 About 10 beers on tap and a few more in bottles. Fresh enough. I got the 5 beer tater for $10. A good deal. Lady behin the bar was friendly. Nothing to complain about. If you fly from terminal A, it’s the place to go! | 56 AMBIANCE 2/5 SERVICE 6/10 SELECTION 7/15 FOOD N/A VALUE 5/10 OVERALL 13/20 altonbrownd (199) Brussels, Belgium | May 15, 2010| Updated June 28, 2012 Small but welcome pub in gate A of Logan airport. Enjoyed their summer beer. Hope to be able to stay longer next time. | 62 AMBIANCE 2/5 SERVICE 7/10 SELECTION 8/15 FOOD N/A VALUE 6/10 OVERALL 14/20 502F (47) ARLINGTON, Virginia | January 25, 2010| Updated June 28, 2012 Had a few beers here before flying home to Louisville. A nice little stop. I was really surprised and excited to see a micro pub literally 10 feet from my gate. They sell their staple beers, with the IPA being the big seller. I had that and a brown ale while there. Didn’t have time to try anything else out before take off. They also serve wine, and I am uncertain if they have food. I am pretty sure I saw some seasonals/special release bottles on the shelves behind the bar, but didn’t ask whether they were for sale or simply for display. I also didn’t ask if they sold food or look for a menu. As you could expect, the selection is limited, but plenty to keep any of us entertained for an hour or two in the airport. |
