Harpoon Tap Room - Logan Airport

Jampacked with travelers, servers don't really help and no nothing about the beer. Selection is surprisingly poor, just a bunch of the more popular styles of Harpoon. Food is edible but not good by any means. Very much a let down.

Slow, rude, awful. I’ve been by twice over the last couple years and both times the service has been awful. It hasn’t been busy at all, but the service is absurdly slow and the staff seem to think they’re doing you a favor if you are able to flag someone down (which is hard because they pretty actively avoid eye contact). Don’t bother with this place- the Logan Terminal A options are all bad, but this makes the others look good.

Located across from A20. A nice sized bar with a few tables, pretty cramped. They have 6 beers on tap and s few bottles. The clam chowder was very good. A few other options, mainly sandwiches. Service was fast and friendly.

Stopped in for lunch while waiting for our flight. Decent sized bar and seating area. We got there as they were bringing in new kegs, so new beers on tap. The bartender knew the names of the beers, but not what they were, so I just googled them. Food was typical airport food, overpriced and just ok.

Visited on a Tuesday afternoon while waiting for a flight. They carry 6 or so regular Harpoon beers, as well as a Cider and a couple seasonals. The problem is, neither the menu, nor the staff seem to know which seasonals they currently have. They are very friendly about it though. I wasn’t really in the mood to do a flight, so I didn’t even ask. The beer I did order was decent (Oktoberfest), but nothing special. Proper glassware, but I think that was just lucky. Sort of expensive, too, but that is to be expected in an airport. An alright experience. If I’m in Logan again, I’ll probably try one of the other bars in the terminal. They seemed to all carry some sort of craft beer.

Well, we got a few beers, but sort of regret we did. The beers are mostly decent, but the service was beyond belief, in a negatiive way. Slow, extremely unorganized, tables were only partially cleaned and there’s a rather unpleasant food smell all over the area. The waitress got really annoyed when we asked for a glass to pour the bottled beer into, but at least she got us one. A not very clean looking one. If I ran Harpoon, or only this place, I’d be very dissatisfied with most aspects. And in addition to all this, most of the draft beers were sold out.

When I visited the place was almost full and there were only one person at work so she was a bit stressed out. It is one of the worst services I have ever seen, she was very bitter and unfriendly, there where only 2 beers on the 10 taps and the IPA didn’t seem to be in the best condition. I got the comment "real men drink out of the bottle" after asking for a glass for the double IPA. This seemed so unprofessionally and can’t be the presentation the brewery aim for.

Ten beers on tap and as advertised heavily they are certainly extremely fresh due to the proximity of the brewery. Prices are as not-outlandish as they can get in an airport, service is so-so, food is bad, this obviously is the place to go in the airport and the super freshness of the beers really is nice.

A little pricey by absolutely worth stopping by. The beer is brewed so close by it’s remarkably fresh and the selection is great.

Located across from Gate A20. Arrived early for a flight and had three hours to kill. This place suited the purpose perfectly. This is a typical airport bar setup, though it is nice and open to the terminal. They had 9 different Harpoon beers on, including 2 or 3 seasonal / special offerings. All beers served in proper glassware, which is a nice touch for an airport location. Also, they offered a four beer sampler that had ~6 oz pours ($9.99), which was quite nice. Food is basic soup, app, burger options. Overall, an above average airport brewery tap.
