Visited a few times, latest in september 2014, with beery friends. Placed in the harbour, easy to get to. Parking outside or the tram stops close by. They have around 5 beers of their own, on tap. It is possible to get a sampler, nice size. They have also a few beers on bottle. They do nice food as well. Spacy, cosy brewpub, decorated with a lot of beer sign. Lots of seats inside, as well as outside. Friendly staff, for sure worth a visit.

Brewpub with an overlook along the peirs of Scheveningen, very nice sitting outside on a sunny day. 5 house beers and a few geust on tap. Nice bottle list with a good selection of some of the better Belgian beers, a few lambic etc. Good value, especially considering the area. 5 nice size samples for 5,5Ä. Fine service.

Hmm did I not rate this place? Weird. Been awhile since I visited. Nice place, both for beer and to have (pub) dinner. Staff was very friendly, brewer came up to ask my opinion about his beers. Valued the feedback. I felt very comfortable and had a good time there.

Big plus for having their own beer. Unfortunately it is not the quality to make a detour for. Food was ok, but the fish salad had too much dressing. Youíd think fish so close to the sea would be better. OK experience.

At the smelly part of the harbour...typical looking from the outside, quite used and some brown wood inside... Brewery is inside, looks pretty neat. They got a bunch of taps with their own beer, some rotating taps and some permanent taps. Very friendly service, even let people taste before they choose what beer to drink. Got two beers bottled, the rest is draught. Didnít try the food. Nice selection of other beers. Got enough of their own beers on tap... knowledgeable and very friendly staff in for a chat. Fun to visit!

This is my "local" and I canít believe I never reviewed the place! Itís one of two brewpubs in Den Haag and itís undergone a bit of a renaissance in recent times after an uncertain period. Itís located in the harbour, a short walk away from the beach. Itís great to sit outside in the summer time and watch the world go by when this place is very popular. Indoors it has a nice cosy ambience with a wooden bar area and a raised dining area too. The place easily seats 60+ people. Their own home brewed beers are generally of very good quality and there is a good range of styles. They usually have three guests too from Dutch micros and all the standard stuff you would expect to find in a bar in this part of the world. They have a good bottled selection too and Iíve never had a bad meal here. Go check it out. You wonít be disappointed. Itís just a 10 minute ride on the tram from the centre of town. Take the 1, 11 or 17.

Nice place with a great view over the harbour. Nice to sit outside in summer, but also OK inside. They have their own beers on tap, some other taps and a nice selection of bottles. Thereís not a huge number, but they do have some rarer and vintage bottles. I ate here once but as I have a special diet I think itís not really fair to rate them on what they cooked up for me. But always good and friendly service.

Lovely place in the summer and winter but itís especially popular in the summer as itís close to the beach. Decent selection of beers and great to see the brewing area. Since Wesley Aarse took over as brewer in the autumn of 2012, both the quality and quantity if different beers has improved greatly

Visited this brewpub in the harbour, very close to the beach on a nice sunny day. The atmosphere was good and noone bothered waiting a bit longer for their food and beers. Their own beers are pretty nice, but the staff I met werenít able to give much information about them. Just a nice place to visit>

Itís a pity that I got there on a cloudy summer evening, because this location could be wonderful with some sun, sitting outside. Having changed the brewer one year ago, the beers are still unrefined, but they are daring brewing something modern, and this is positive. They also have a quite long list of good bottles. Very good service, helpful and smiling.
