Krkonošská Hospůdka

Visited 15th june 2018. Works as local pub with beers from Krkonoss. Since 2012. Sausages goes well with the beers.

How to get here: Well, it's across the street from Base Camp (or rather, Base Camp moved to across the street from it). Green metro to Hradcanská, north exit, follow the streets keeping to the right into Muchova, and you'll end up there. Classic basement pub, little patio, maybe a product of the pandemic, maybe before. Actually had beers from here 2-3 times, while going to Base Camp, but never actually been inside. Fairly modern insides, full of locals, who ensure I guess that the rotation is pretty good here. Bob & Dave's and 3 other beers on tap, only haven't had the 8° Letní Ale from Beranuv Pivovar, so went for that one. Guessed correctly with a small glass -> despite a good hop kick, chlorophenols are there (no fault of the pub). Anywho, good service, some interesting, even rare beers popping up here and there - there's no excuse not to go in for a round when visiting BC (and there's no excuse not to visit BC).

Across the street from Base Camp store , small cellar bar with 4 beers on tap, 1 house beer and 3 other Czech micoes, 2 new for me. A couple of bottles in the fridge behind the bar. Seems like a locals bar, but friendly none the less. Good service and prices.

A nice bar if in the area. 4 on tap all from good micro breweries. Unfortunately for me no new breweries but I needed 3 of the beers!

Franco told me about this place, grazie! Small bar inside with four stools, front room with restaurant tables, very small back room, sidewalk deck. Four beers on tap, all from breweries I hadn't seen before. Served each beer with its own matching beermat/coaster, first time I’ve seen that. It also meant that I could order another beer just by displaying a different beermat, staff caught on right away. Pretzels. Two attentive staff covered the whole place - why can't we have table service like this in Charlotte?

Small pub (beer bar) with a choice of beers. Four taps - Krakonoš beer, Bob and Dave Bitter (Kamenice) and two taps with local beers. Very good service, great stuff, friendly atmosphere!

After a long journey from Norway starting at 5 AM and entering this cellar hospoda half past three, I finally got the day’s first Czech beer ! Ahhh! This place is clean, looks bright new but it also offers a cozy neighborhood feeling. Friendly service. (Visited October 6th 2014)

Small cellar hospoda in a quit street, located a 5 minutes walk from Hradčanská on Metro A. Looks rather new inside, with bright wooden interior including chairs. 2 years old according to the waiter. Limited beer selection, more a place to relax and enjoy a well kept beer from Krkonos. Beer snack is served, cheese and sausages.

For me, as I live close by, this is a great local pub. Praha 6 is in dire need of more beer dedicated digs and this one is unique with it’s rotating taps. Always meet friendly people here and the owner and his wife (?) (and occasionally his mum and dad to..) are just the nicest people around. Always something interesting on the beer menu, though hardly ever anything but light lagers (well, I did have a great weissen there recently), an occasional IPA would be welcome. A very nice and friendly pub if you happen to be in the neighborhood.
