Odd Man Rush Brewing

Nice "modern" venue. Brewers available. Good service. Good beers. Good tour. Short tour. :)

Located in a light industrial area. Gleaming brrewing equipment visible in the back. Nice tasting room with nine of their brews on tap, available as tasters for two bucks a pop. Visited on a Tuesday afternoon and it was very quiet. Two hotties behind the bar were more interested in chatting up the stud muffins at the bar than talking beer. The beers, though, were above average. Glad I stopped.

Located just outside Anchorage is this hockey-themed brewery offering wood slat walls intermixed with an occasional hockey stick. The score board provides additional hockey/sports decor. The service was great and kept the conversation going. We enjoyed a variety of house beers while locals came and went with empty growlers becoming full again.

Large place, basically the front end of the production side with no real barriers except the bar. Hockey theme, right down to the Zamboni (I want to be a Zamboni driver some day, so extra point for atmosphere). Owner poured our beers, including one from the bright tank. Flights of six $14. Tasty stuff. Nice stop.

Nice hockey themed place, rustic decor. The beer is good. Samplers available.

Nice new location on the other side of the highway from main Eagle River. They have the hockey theme going on since they all played hockey growing up and Brian Swanson was retired professional player. Large brewing area in the back and 10 taps bar. They have flights and samples to go with glass and growlers. The beer is pretty good now, but I am sure will get better as they dial it in. Will probably stop by at least weekly to see what is new.
