I actually haven’t been there in many years.

99% sure that I rated this place before, anyhow central placed. Access via fot or tram. Usually very crowded - vs late hours. Beer selection pretty not interessting! Go there once, to get the feeling - it’s enough!

I visit every now and then, often to show someone from out of town this unique place.
This place is one of the oldest beer bars in Sweden that is still running. It also the only place in Sweden (as far as I know) that are allowed to serve alcohol without a kitchen.
Used to have some special beers made only for them, but no longer. OK selection and fair prices. Service from OK to good. Crowd varies a lot depending on when you visit.
Well worth to visit, but not a place I frequent that very often.
Opens early, always a place to get the early beer of the day. Easy to get to by taking public transport to either Kungsportsplatsen (closest) or Grönsakstorget (with a short walk).

I always have a beer or two here when I am in Gothenburg. Not the best selection of beer. But absolutely a decent one. Unfortunately they do not have the beers that where specialy made for this pub anymore. A whole lot of beer tradition within tihs walls. Nice friendly staff that often serve some sausages with the beers. Good location at Kungstorget.
