A wonderful old place, like a brown cafe, although the beer list was less than exciting.

Nice old style swedish beer café with genuine athmosphere. Limited selection but some good stuff. Very different from other beer places in town.

Supposedly the oldest beer hall in town, and it smells like it! No craft beer though...

Very nice rustique atmosphere. Readily accessible due to central location. Beer selection isn’t too exciting

Bern visiting several times the last few years. Opens early and is located very central, close to Avenyn. Beer selection is quite average. More interesting because of its history, being the oldest still running pub in Sweden.

Perfect for a beer on a Sunday afternoon stroll on this town.

Visited a few years ago, thougth I had revied it. Place had two beers made for them which was a god thing back then. Now that most bars have their own beers either made by Dugges or Ocean it make sit a little less interesting. Rest pof the selection was not too impressive with the usual Swedish macros.

99% sure that I rated this place before, anyhow central placed. Access via foot or tram/bus + wee walk. Usually very crowded - vs late hours. Beer selection pretty not interesting! Go there once, to get the feeling - it’s enough! The most exciting part is the interior and the fact that is the only remaning ölhak in Gbg

I visit every now and then, often to show someone from out of town this unique place.
This place is one of the oldest beer bars in Sweden that is still running. It also the only place in Sweden (as far as I know) that are allowed to serve alcohol without a kitchen.
Used to have some special beers made only for them, but no longer. OK selection and fair prices. Service from OK to good. Crowd varies a lot depending on when you visit.
Well worth to visit, but not a place I frequent that very often.
Opens early, always a place to get the early beer of the day. Easy to get to by taking public transport to either Kungsportsplatsen (closest) or Grönsakstorget (with a short walk).
