74 AMBIANCE 4/5 SERVICE 8/10 SELECTION 12/15 FOOD N/A VALUE 8/10 OVERALL 13/20 Rand_ale_Thor (9) , | October 6, 2012 They have many beers, but they do not have only one or two that stand above the rest. The rest of the non-Oso selection was pretty good, too. The bartender was nice and thorough in his descriptions of the beer. I enjoyed my experience there and would go again if in the area. | 88 AMBIANCE 4/5 SERVICE 9/10 SELECTION 13/15 FOOD N/A VALUE 10/10 OVERALL 18/20 esjaygee (236) Oak Creek, Wisconsin | September 16, 2012 Stopped in on a trip to Central Wisconsin. Basically it’s both a homebrew shop, O’sos brewing operations and O’sos tap room. They had a handful of bottles available and about 40 or so beers on tap. Plenty of Good offerings on tap, probably 10 from O’so and the rest were all Wisconsin I think. Some far away brewpubs I’m not use to seeing on tap were on tap here. I like what the new brewpubs like Vintage, O’so, Sweet Mullets, etc are doing by putting beers on from each other. If only someone would open up a brewpub in Milwaukee with good beer that would do that! Friendly staff, very reasonable prices and they do offer a sampler. | 86 AMBIANCE 3/5 SERVICE 9/10 SELECTION 14/15 FOOD N/A VALUE 9/10 OVERALL 17/20 mrjaxson (27) .08 Junction, Wisconsin | July 16, 2012| Updated December 28, 2012 A great new location--in an upscale (well, for Plover, WI, it is definitely upscale) shopping center. 40 beautiful tap handles line one wall, and they represent everything O’so is currently brewing plus guest taps from a big variety of other Wisconsin microbreweries. Everything is $4 (price updated 12/28/2012), regardless if your order is served in a standard pint, snifter or whatever. Bartenders are very knowledgeable and always ready with a sample if you’re unsure or just curious. Support O’so! | 78 AMBIANCE 5/5 SERVICE 9/10 SELECTION 10/15 FOOD N/A VALUE 8/10 OVERALL 15/20 arkurzynski (72) West Bend, Wisconsin | September 17, 2011| Updated December 28, 2012 Hung out in the homebrew shop/taproom this summer having a cold one. Kind of neat to see and hear where things have come from and where their heading. New brewery location in the works. Friendly staff. Fighting the good fight for Wisconsin craft brewing. | 72 AMBIANCE 4/5 SERVICE 9/10 SELECTION 9/15 FOOD N/A VALUE 8/10 OVERALL 14/20 BVery (323) Burnsville, Minnesota | September 1, 2011| Updated December 28, 2012 Got to check out their new digs today - they just moved to the Village Park Drive location. They are still moving in and building out the tap room, brewing facility, and brewing supply store, but I was able to hang out for an hour and try a couple beers with the owner. Super friendly, and you can tell this new location is gonna be sweet. She tells me they have plans for a 40-tap taproom with representation from multiple central Wisconsin breweries. I’m excited to return in a couple months when they are all moved in. | 76 AMBIANCE 4/5 SERVICE 10/10 SELECTION 9/15 FOOD N/A VALUE 6/10 OVERALL 15/20 timmyk77 (2) Overland Park, Kansas | August 2, 2009| Updated December 28, 2012 Visited on a Friday morning, there was a large group of us, and they were kind enough to open up early for us. The head brewer showed us the operation while the owner’s wife, Katina poured us some samplers. Afterwards the owner, Marc came out and talked to us. This is truly a small brewery trying to build up a base. They have great beers, including their Picnic Ants seasonal. The red is great too. Marc and Katina are great people and they treat you well. If you go there tell the you want to help them "water the grass." They’ll know what it means. | 66 AMBIANCE 4/5 SERVICE 10/10 SELECTION 3/15 FOOD N/A VALUE 5/10 OVERALL 16/20 jbuzz (35) Milwaukee, Wisconsin | April 20, 2009| Updated December 28, 2012 10 minute drive from the Stevens point Brewery. So you should make the short detour. O’so is mainly a brew shop but they sell their brews and you can see the operation very well from the windows of the shop.
Their beers are available on tap in the shop. I picked up a growler of the Dopplebock on my visit. The people behind this brewery really it make it worth checking out.
