This is a relatively new place, I think. It reminds me of what T Phillips was two years ago where they have a bunch of taps but a lot of it is garbage. That said they have a couple of good ones like Ruination and Lagunitas IPA. They have a Packinghouse beer on tap and a "house" beer which is made by Redhook and is most likely a rebranded keg of their pale ale. I’m going to make myself a regular here so I can hopefully talk them into getting some better taps. Get a real hefe on tap, get another good IPA on tap, and maybe get some San Diego stuff like Ballast Point, Port, or Green Flash. Maybe also try out some more local breweries. Well, maybe not the ones in Riverside but Bruery, Bootlegers, maybe some Golden Road, Smog City, Monkish, Ohana, Ladyface, etc. The service was very friendly. We sat at a booth which was basically just overflow for bar seating since the bar was pretty packed. They have some TVs too if you care to watch a game. The food is pretty good albeit pricey. It’s also a bike ride away from my place so I’ll try to stop in more often. |
