The Flying Horse Bar and Brewery

Visited on 11th April 2016. Large pub on the outskirts of town in a retail park. Free shuttle bus collected us from our hotel and dropped us off which is a great idea. 3 of their own beers on tap plus a few bottles and the usual macro offerings. It’s a huge pub so it’s not really that cosy. It was fairly quiet and we were the last to leave. Staff were friendly and chatty. Food was decent. It’s a decent enough spot. Not a beer destination as such but is the best on offer for some distance.

Pretty typical Aussie pub. TAB, gaming and lots of macro stuff. Pretty soulless joint. Decent service, quick and efficient but not real knowledgeable. Two beers on tap and none in bottles. Beers were good but there was more cider on tap so a bit of a bummer really

Pretty sterile place, TAB, Pure blonde doesn’t make for a great brewpub in my opinion. I think there is a bus from the centre of town to the brewery, but I drove because it wasn’t worth staying around for more than 2 beers. Food was OK pub grub. Don’t go out of your way.

The beer comes out like giant popsicles it is so cold. A nice looking place thou a bit too contempory for me.
