Located in an upscale mall, this World of beer has an open concept. Selection is fantastic and service was outstanding. Worth it if in the Columbus area.

This place is way too close to my place of business, but I manage to resist going there save for a couple times a month. I’d go broke. Aside from the pricing, you really can’t go wrong with this place. Great selection, good service, stuff you can’t get elsewhere, cool events and soccer games on TV. No food just yet, but you can order in from many Easton-area restaurants. Was just there yesterday morning drinking CBS and KBS while watching the Borussia Dortmund v. Hoffenheim game. Nuff said.

Free parking lot right across the street. Big long bar on the right all kinds of big screen tvs and nice sporty decor. Lots of taps and several hundred bottles you can see right in the refrigerators. Good service, the times I have been there. You can get a few small samples; to try before you buy. Some things are way over priced and some things are reasonable. They could do a little better in having more local bottles. I have been here a few times and not seen anything rare here.

Stopped in while up at Easton town center, looks nice, seems a bit small though. Service was quick and friendly, decent tap and bottle selection, seemed a little pricey on their taps. Not too bad, ill come back.

Stopped in on an early friday afternoon. The place is in a big shopping complex, so there’s plenty of parking garages around. When I walked in, I was surprised at the amount of taps and beer fridges were in this place. I was able to get a seat pretty easily at a two top table. Within a short amount of time a waitress was at my side asking what I would like. I ordered a few samples and soon enough I had them. After I finished my samples, I ordered a glass and then the trouble started. I finished my glass and I sat for about 15 minutes waiting on my waitress to notice and stop by. I went so far as walking up to the bar to ask if I could check out there and was told I had to go through my waitress. It was several minutes after that that I had to wait for her to stop by and ask how I was doing. If it weren’t for the service, this place would be good enough to warrant me wanting to come back. Unfortunately, I just don’t. There are plenty of other places I know I can go to get craft beer in Columbus that I don’t have to put up with poor service.

Stopped in while shopping at Easton Mall. Sat at bar. Bartender was very attentive and knowledgeable. I didn’t realize you could sample anything on tap...very nice! Great tap selection, 25-30, and probably 10x that many more in bottles. Prices were about what I expected for high quality beers. Lots of tvs playing a mix of sports and movies. Loved the display of all the tap handles above the bar. There is a food menu of restaurants in the vicinity which is brought to the bar. Kind of a nice service.

When I visited: Late January 2013. What I had: Draught Lagunitas Sucks for me and a Delirium Tremens on tap for the wife. What I liked: Both beers tasted lovely (they definitely clean their lines), convenient location, robust draught and bottle menus as with all WOBs, fair prices. What I disliked: Slow and uncaring service, seemingly smaller than the Brewery District spot, ho-hum crowd with several people staring about (I guess that’s what you can expect in suburbia), stool tables are awkward, didn’t enjoy this place nearly as much as the Front Street location. Would I go back? Probably not. Overall Rating: 66

Visited 01/2013: Columbus’ newest WOB location is at Easton off Easton Way. There is a parking garage on either side of the bar.

There is a small patio out front. Inside is a large open room with the bar along the back wall, and high top and table seating throughout the rest of the space. Several coolers full of bottles behind the bar, as well as a view of all the taps. Large chalkboard that lists the beers on tap, and several TVs around the bar.

As for the draught list, there are over 25 taps with breweries like Dark Horse, Columbus Brewing, Stone, Southern Tier and Dogfish Head. Hundreds of bottles too organized by region. Local and Ohio breweries like Thirsty Dog, Great Lakes, CBC, Hoppin’ Frog alongside other domestic craft brewers like Green Flash, Lagunitas, Rogue and Oskar Blues. Imports from Belgium, the UK, Germany and others as well.

Service on a weekday afternoon was good. The bartender was familiar with the different beers and attentive. WOB does a loyalty program with no time constraints which is nice. They also do events frequently such as tap takeovers.

Food is not available at WOB but can be brought in.

Overall despite mixed feelings about these chain places it is a welcome sight at Easton.

swung by on my way back from Jackie O’s and stopped here with my friend, walk in a find a seat wherever you can. our waitress was very attentive and willing to chat, they have a frequent drinker card, lots of bottles, low turnover, plenty of taps some unique some not. good specials and crowded loud crowd for a Saturday evening. Not bad not great.. I didnt hate it as much as I thought I would
