On of those places with dozens of taps, but barely anything interesting to drink. 50 taps and loads of cans and bottles, but mostly usual suspects. In an odd way I'm admiring the skill of putting together so many dull bottles and cans. Was lucky enough to find one interesting Three Taverns stout on tap. Can't say I'm too thrilled with the atmosphere either.

Great little place with a great selection of beer(for a place in the South) I had a couple dark beers. Wife had a wine and we split a flatbread. Nice classic rock.

Decent local selection with some stand out good imports from around the U.S. or global. Better decor than other World of Beers. You can take out beer from here and walk around and it's on the strip, so you could use this place as a base and keep coming back. They sell flights but as all World of Beers, they mark up the price on these. A few outside tables to people watch.

Hit it on a week day afternoon. Not real busy. I like the setup of this place, comfy and laid back. Liked the pad with all the beers listed on it, very handy indeed. Bartender was friendly and fairly beer savvy. Pricing was fair, selection was just okay. Most of the beers on list were easily available at most places. Clean place, pissery included. Lots to look at on the walls, friggin TV,s but muted at the time. And the coolest part about it and Savannah for that matter is taking a cold brew with you when you walk out the door. I,d stop in again when i get back to Savannah.

Good location right along the main drag of Broughton St. Pretty much looks like any other WoB aesthetically speaking. The patio area out front was handy for people watching / shade from the heat. I was pretty disappointed by the draft list. Very limited selection of locals, and not much exciting from beyond their local region either. Service was okay, but uninterested. Lots of really generic craft offerings. The kind of tap list where out of the 50 or so offerings there’s nothing much to get excited about.

A modern, double-fronted place with a high ceiling and a balcony area. It has a similar layout to other World of Beer places I’ve been to, with long banks of taps and rows of fridges behind the bar. This branch was very good for local beers and they offered a flight of four for $10. (Visited 17 February 2014).

If you’ve been to one of these, then you pretty much know what you’re getting into. I don’t mind going to these places, but there are definitely people who view these as a commercial attempt to cash in on the craft beer boom. In my opinion it’s a solid place to sample a wide range of beers and styles. Not my first choice, but not a place I’d go out of my way to avoid.

I have stopped in here a couple of times while visiting to Savannah. Basically, if you’ve been to a World of Beer, you’ve been to them all. Very similar ambiance, etc.

My service was always prompt and friendly, but no knowledgeable. I usually have to explain what I want and if something is wrong they never believe me. I have heard the bartenders at this one spouting out some pretty hilariously incorrect information while describing beers to customers.

Good selection, lots of locals and tasty beers.

Average to slightly high prices.

Overall, it’s a good place to stop while visiting town because they have a ton of beer, usually plenty of local beers, and it’s right in the heart of the historic district. So at the very least, because there are no open container laws, you can stop in, grab a beer to go, and get out.

Newish outpost of the WoB chain, ideally located in central Savannah. Modern pseudo-sports bar interior. Wide and variety selection of both tap and bottles (akin to their other bars). A couple of Westbrook seasonals kept me more than occupied. Unfortunately a few of the bottles on the menu were out of stock, but the behind the bar did a good job of offering good alternatives. A great addition to Savannah.

Had a beer here on a weekday late afternoon. Location is a storefront place on Savannah’s main shopping/restaurant street. Modern interior. Reminded me of iTap in St. Louis. Part of the World of Beer chain. Haven’t been to another but this one is cool. Nice staff. Lots of TVs above the bar. Mezzanine with tables. Long bar. Clean place. Good selection: 50 taps and 8 large beer fridges fully stocked. Prices are a bit high but happy hour is noon-7 and drafts are $2 off. Probably the best place to stop in Savannah. Recommended.
