Zaftig Brewing Company

Nice place in Worthington, Ohio. Medium size places with dim lights and medium sized parking lot. Bar hold a dozen people and 8 big tables to hold the people. One nice bartender with an assistant.15 of their own beers on tap and a few different beers of their own in cans served. Music got switched to football game. Three tv’s in the buildings. Have outdoor patio.. Beers to go and souvenirs also. Nice place. Cheers!

Zaftig is another new brewery in Columbus, and is located on the north side on Schrock Road in a warehouse/storage garage. Parking is available in front of the building.

The interior of the garage has a table and couches past the entrance, and a small walk-up bar on the right for samples, pints and growler sales. There is a whiteboard next to the bar listing the available beers, and a logo banner behind. The place is pretty no frills, with the brewery and cleaning equipment right in the same space.

The taproom typically has 3-4 beers on draught. On my visit this included a Stout, Strong Ale and Wee Heavy. All of them were above average. The beers are available in samples, pints and growlers.

Service on my visit was good. The brewers/owners were there and were more than happy to talk about their beers and solicit feedback.

Food is not available.

Overall it is nice to see another nanobrewery opening in Columbus, this one pretty much in the shadow of the A-B plant.
