Brothers Ink Skinny Blonde
I bought a bottle in Fiji, cute label, with no expectations as far as the taste was concerned, not at all. Initially I had the impression that the girl was in a bikini, but by the time I got to the hotel in the evening, I noticed she was stark naked. "Quite amusing!", I thought, with a stupid smile on my face. Back in the fridge, I opened the bottle and she was in a bikini. What was that? Was it just a silly fantasy that I thought this printed blonde on a beer label was bare stripped? How wickely sick could a lone traveller get? Well, the flavours did not get me any more excited about that deceiving blonde. Indeed I must say that it was infinietly better than the Carlton Cold, the Pure Blonde and the Fiji Premium. Nice colour and aroma for a lager. Perhaps too sweet and malty. I still like the label though.

cute bottle - turns topless when warm. not bad for a lager - surprising. good balance of sweetness and bitterness (much more sweet than expected). Definitely better than the VBs and Carlton Draught beers of australia. For a lager, this isn’t bad. drinkable.

Brothers Ink Gold Digger Golden Ale
On tap at Hart’s Pub. Poured a golden amber colour that is bright and almost orange. Looks clean and beads of foam are left on the glass. Fruity tropical fruit aroma with a similar flavour that is crisp and clean on the palate. Passionruit and citrus come through.

Brothers Ink Gold Digger Golden Ale
draught at Taphouse, Darlingurst. Pours a thick orange, with a small off white head. Plenty of fruit in the aroma, dominated by orange and other citrus. While the aroma was fantastic, the taste left a little to be desired, as it just fell flat without much of the flavour expected after the nose. Decent enough though.

bottle. i agree with mkel, the label made me happy, the beer did not. very plain and basic, much like the many commercial ’blonde’ beers. not a lot to it, with the malt slightly dominant over any other non-descript flavours.

330ml bottle. Another one where the label on the bottle far outways the contents in the bottle. Pours thin and watery with a ghostly light veil of foam on top. Honey amber in colour with not much in the way of aroma. Flavour does not offer much more than a bland dishwater taste. Like a true skinny blonde it promises a lot but delivers little.

Had very low expectations but was actually kinda ok. Low carbonation and a confused APA citrus taste over a bland watery base. No as bad as it could be.
