Hazy golden beer with a very strong sweet aroma. Flavor is also very sweet with the classic notes of bananna and cloves. Finish slightly stick with lingering sweetness. not bad, but a little sweet for my tastes

4 oz taster. this was the only beer whose flavor stood out over the garlic fries (which made it worth going!). Roasty malt aroma also strong in the flavor. Very little bitterness wityh some carmel in the finish. The best of the bunch IMO

From a HH sampler. Redish amber. weak aroma. Basic and sweet flavor without much complexity.

They have a good happy hour. Tasted all 4 of their options, then had a big 22oz pour of this one for $3. A decent IPA, some pine, some faint citrus. While not an ’out of the park’ IPA, for $3 a big pour, I can be satisfied drinking this. Go for their happy hour and also try the pot roast, it was outstanding.

Went for their happy hour. Good prices. This was my least favorite of the four I tasted. Kind of a bland beer, nothing unique.

Draft at pub. They have a great happy hour. I did their sampler of 4 styles. This is a decent hefe, somewhat banana yeasty aftertaste with some clovey flavor as well.

We went for happy hour (they have a very great happy hour) and I tasted their whole sampler. This was a decent amber, slightly sweet, a touch of caramel. Admittedly this isn’t my favorite style, but this is a drinkable beer.

Was told that this had replaced their Blonde. A very malty beer - doesn’t hit me with the spicy character that I expect from a pilsener - more like a malty balanced lager. Dark golden color with a thick white head.

Pleasant big pine tree aroma wafting out of the glass. Amber in color with a thick foamy head. Flavor of faint oranges, sweet syrupy malt, and a sharp bitter finish. Not incredibly deep or complex, but like their other beers, well made and balanced. Served a bit too cold.

Brix 42 Red
Maybe my favorite beer they serve at the newly opened Brix 42. A dark red color, very strong and sweet malt profile. Very little hop presence - a very roasty and toasty flavor, not quite as sickeningly sweet as some red beers I’ve had. Good.

Just straight up malt in the profile. Flavor was like breathing deeply at the homebrew shop while you are grinding your grain. Several detectable malt flavors - sweet, yet also very roasty. Almost no detectable hop presence other than a faint bitterness in the very end. Dark brown in color. Weird, but I like it.

Cloudy yellow color with a thin white head. Notes of citrus and subtle clove spice, but very heavy sugary and roasty malt profile - bigger than most hefe’s out there. Decent, but not my fav - and of course they feel the need for some reason to serve with a giant lemon wedge on the rim - even in the sampler.

Not really a style I normally like, but this is a crisp and drinkable beer. The malt profile is typical - sweet and sugary light grain. Color is clear and golden. Thin white head. Subtle citrusy spice in the aroma and finish.

Toasty is a good description. It has a lovely dark amber color - I want to say things like ground flour dust, bread, cereal. Very chewy malt presence, and just a faint bitterness in the finish. Smooth.
