Kleg	1.9 White Birch Small Batch Ale Watermelon Wheat 16 oz. can from The Bat Cave. Pours a clear gold color with a white head and very good retention. Almost no lacing. Tart fruit aroma. Very tart flavor. Too tart to identify any specific fruit flavor. Medium body. Above average carbonation. Too sour to be bitter. Barely enough beer taste to be tolerable. Not a fan of sour beers. jgb9348	3.8 White Birch Small Batch Ale Pineapple Coconut Berliner Weisse Pretty hazy golden and light straw coloured body with a thick, four centimetre tall pure white head that leaves a thick lace on the sides, but fades pretty quickly. Aroma of very strong pina colada notes with a lot of pineapple, but way more coconutty scents, with some wheat and light malt notes along with a hint of some bretty funk and a dash of yeast and bread at the end that show a bit of pungency. Medium-bodied; Relatively strong and pungent malt notes show at first with a big coconut and pineapple fruity quality along with some light dry wheat and grassy notes with a touch of sweetness on the end from caster sugar and a bit of fructose. Aftertaste shows a light tartness and even soft soured quality with some dry malts and slight wheat profile that hits nicely on the end with the fruits really coming out with a touch of funky yeast at the end that adds to the complexity. Overall, a nice and relatively strong, funky and yeastie beer with a lot of pineapple and conutty notes that have some good tartness and soured flavours with a nice layer of sweetness and a finish from the malts that is balanced well. I sampled this sixteen ounce pint-sized can purchased from Liqour Outlet in Boonton, New Jersey on 26-November-2022 sampled by the pool at my hotel here in Orlando, Florida on 31-December-2022, New Year's Eve with my wife and three kids on vacation. Aroma suggests dark chocolate, cinnamon and nutmeg. Sweet flavor, not really a surprise there. More dark chocolate and a bit more spice than I would have liked. puboflyons	4.1 White Birch Belgian Quad From a 16 fl. oz. can. The appearance is chestnut brown with yellow and red hues hovering around the edges against the light. Tan head. Blackcurrants definitely take center stage in the aroma. I can catch them a foot away from my nose. Then there are toffee and butterscotch malt esters, raisins, fruit, and earth. No alcohol. Medium to full body. The taste is all about the fruity blackcurrants to start with the roasted malts kicking in briefly and the finish being mildly tart. Not overly warming. Not overly boozy.
