Draft at brewpub. Pours brown with a slightly off putting woody smell like cedar which I’m not feeling. Taste as a slight malty note but it fades quickly in the finish. Meh!

Tap @ the pub - Id love to tell you about the aroma but I can’t smell anything because the pub is smokey and I’m allergic. Anyway, pours a clear amber with a thin white head. Lightly carbonated with some minerality, I notice the bitterness of the beer last, finishes dry. Palate is very light and refreshing. Would be a good session beer since it is light and relatively bland.

Thgis was tasted at a luncheon with our Fredericksburg salesperson. He knew I liked to try new beers. The Red Ale was the best of those tasted. It had a deep red color with smallish to no head. They need to improve carbonation on all their beers. There was some caramel and earthy flavors. The finish was smooth but again the ale just lacked body. ABV was 6.4% and complimented the ale.

This was tasted at a luncheon meeting at The Pub. I was taken there to taste some microbrews. The APA was yellow in color with a smallish head. There was some bitterness of extra hops. The ale lacked body. It just seemed to be too thin. Smooth finish but not much to cheer about. I hope they will work on the ale. I will try later in the year.
