Hydromélix Classique
Bouteille 50cl, shared with Meadme.

Hydromel Chouchen Fisselier
Bottle. A clear, oily pour, dark golden in color. There’s quite a lot of honey on the nose, with some paint remover and flowers. Yellow apple notes. It’s quite fruity on the palate, full-bodied, oily and very warming, with some flowers. Not as much honey as in the aroma, but it’s sure present. Lasting warming finish with a nice honey flavor. Way too alcoholic this one, but not bad. 140829

Hydromel Chouchen Fisselier
Bottle from Chemins de Bretagne, Paris; syntetic cork
Beautiful, oily golden color. Strong aroma of honey, perfumy and a little soapy too; light chemicals, and some alcohol. The body is strong and the flavor is very sweet, without being syrupy; there is plain honey flavor, with tones of Chardonnay (therefore fruitness) and smoke, and quite some alcohol warmth in the end. A straight-forward sweet French Mead.
