3.5 Moody Cow Grunta's Original Ale On draught @ Moody Cow Brewery Restaurant, Ferguson Valley, December 2014. Dee, burnished copper; bright and radiant in the sun with a solid, satin sheened white crown that leaves a messy lace. Nutty, roasted malt dominated aroma with a salty pretzel, damp kelp and grassy tinge. Toasted and roasted grain forward palate with an earthy, damp soil and dusty quality that is very English in its delivery. Grassy backend with low bitterness. Pasty, dry finish that brings all the flavours together and adds a smokiness that builds. Medium light bodied with soft carbonation. The highlight beer of the day. Very sessionable, classic flavours of real ale. Not too shabby! Sunday, June 21, 2015

3.2 Moody Cow Black Dog Pils On draught @ Moody Cow Brewery Restaurant, Ferguson Valley. Pale straw and bright with a solid and lasting white crown. Grainy, clean, cerea-like nose with spicy hops. Moderate to light carbonation with a light body. Peppery, lasting hop backend with a balanced bitterness in the crisp swallow. Grainy, dry and dusty malt mid-palate. Easy drinking and simple. A good drop that I can’t really fault asides it being undemanding. Sunday, June 21, 2015

4 Moody Cow Golden Ale Unique 520mL bottle. Pours a clear golden sunset with a light sudsy head that fades to dense bubbles on the side of the glass. An amazingly sweet floral bouquet aroma with a caramel note oozing through. Very nice fruity flavour with a light caramel/biscuit malt backing. Honestly one of the best golden ales i have ever tasted, kudos Moody Cow. I wish i could purchase this locally, unfortunately it is only currently available from the brewery. I will be making the drive to pick up more. Friday, February 28, 2014
