3.3 Arnulfus Tripel 0.33 l bottle from 'Het Biermoment', best before 2018. Slightly hazy, orangeish amber with a very thin, frothy, slowly diminishing, white head. Sweetish, a little sourish-funky, slightly fruity and moderately yeasty-spicy aroma of peach and some honey. Moderately sweet, slightly sourish-funky, quite fruity, a bit grassy and just a little spicy taste of peach, orange blossom, honey and hints of clove, followed by a short, moderately bitter, a vit tart, quite grassy and slightly yeasty-spicy finish. Medium body, slightly effervescent mouthfeel, soft carbonation. Not bad actually, has some refreshing fruitiness and acidity, it's just not a Tripel by any means, probably already a bit infected. 2 Arnulfus Dubbel Bottle shared. Clear brown with short lasting beige head. Red apples, light roast, rotting grass, band aids, goat droppings, light ash and licorice, old wood, light bitter. Under medium sweet with weird dry bitter finish. Medium bodied with a bit watery feel. A complete mess, very disappointing even though my expectations were already low. Tuesday, August 1, 2017

3.4 Arnulfus Zeer Stout Bottle @ home. Dark brown color, small off-white to beige head. Smell and taste malts, caramel, sweetish, malt bitter lightly, brown candy sugar influences. Tastes more like a high ABV abbey double tbh. I don’t dislike it at all but it’s not a stout imo. Tuesday, April 11, 2017

2.3 Arnulfus Tripel Bottle @ home. A bit hazy light orange color, small off-white head. Smell and taste malts, sweetness, sugary (again, like in all their beers I’ve tried so far..) but also a slight hint of something a little tart. Meh, don’t like it. Monday, March 27, 2017

2.4 Arnulfus 1809 Bottle @ home. Hazy orange color, minimal off-white head that disappears almost instantly. Smell and taste malts, sweetness, perhaps a hint of yeastiness. Flavor is gone quickly and all that remains is a sugary lightly sticky but dry mouth. Drinkable, but overly sweet and quite if not very boring for anybody who’s had more than just the usual suspects from Belgium and their local pils. Monday, March 27, 2017

3 Arnulfus Tripel Bottle from het Biermoment, BB 2018, 33 cl sample. Slight hazy golden color, little frothy head, especially for the style. Aroma of grainy malt, spicy of yeast or added spices like coriander or cardamom, and a bit fruity of orange peel. Bit fruity sweetness, nuttiness, spicy bitterness. Questionable balance. Feels like a mediocre homebrew, but I didnt expect any better to be honest. Tuesday, March 7, 2017

The beer also contained much carbonic acid in the glass. The beer has a thick dark brown and a karamel sweet taste. The after tast of the beer is hoppy bitter with a liquorice touch .
