Aroma of stewed pear, mucky notes, touch of caramel and herb. Moderate sweetness, bitterness and body. Average carbonation. Nice bittersweet, dry and light tart finish. Not bad. Taste is perry pear, some tartness, fruity, fleshy, drying tannins with a biscuity note. Medium bodied, low carbonation, dry fruity pear tannic finish. Quite OK Wednesday, October 13, 2021
Leighton	3.6 Penallt Perry - Single Variety Gin Bag in a box at Pigs Ear 2018 - Hackney. Pours clear yellow. Good stuff, with light pale wood notes, moderate sweetness, some lemony tang. Surprisingly easy to get on with, bit of nail varnish detected, medium edging towards the sweeter end despite being described as Med/Dry I noticed when Googling to find out details.
