Horoyoi Yamahai Junmai Ginjo Sake
Bottle. Slight hint of yellow but otherwise clear pour. Has the sweet, dried fruit and tropical fruit aroma, spice, and rice. Has the depth and fullness of a typical Yamahai. Less delicate and complex than daiginjo but I like this sake

Ginrin "Lady Chic" Kosui na Yakko Junmai Genshu Sake
A clear sake in a beautiful blue bottle. An odd vegetal aroma with cabbage, coconut and alcohol. Similar flavours, quite sweet, with a musty linger. The more I drink, the less I like it. Lady Chic? How about Wonky Donkey.

Naba Shoten Tsuchizaki Yamahai Nama Genshu Sake
Clear with a slightly oily appearance. Described as cask strength at Kinsen Noodle. Aroma starts medium sweet with fruit. Alcohol is surprisingly hidden. Full flavored, with light fruit and earth, I did perceive the mushroom character. Good.

can at azwine 4/20/10. clear with a slight yellowish tint and ridiculous legging. very floral aroma with notes of spicy alcohol, dusty rice hulls and umami. the flavor is similar...very floral, dusty, citrus, honey and rice with a tingly (alcohol?) mouth feel. it is a bit sweeter and fuller bodied than i ideally like but it is packed with flavor. there is a dryness on the finish which helps thin it out. hides 20% very well. 7/4/7/3/16+

Naba Shoten Tsuchizaki Yamahai Nama Genshu Sake
My final style on RateBeer. 720ml can. Clear with a sweet, rice-like aroma. The flavor is sugar and rice, with some alcohol. I also get some vanilla notes in the flavor. Very easy drinking. A great sake, glad I got to try this one.

Naba Shoten Tsuchizaki Yamahai Nama Genshu Sake
Clear pour with absolutely ridiculous legs that crawl down the glass. Nice thickness on the palate, very sticky and sweet, vanilla, honey, bright florals, and a surprisingly smooth finish.

(720ml can) still and clear, good coating on the glass with nice legs. Nose has mushroom, citrus, alcohol burn, peach, quite complex. Taste of cotton candy, very sweet, nutty. Linger is nutty sweet and body is oily, not dry. Nice sake that could cut through any food pairing.
