3.2 Heldrastein Honigwein Met Lieblich Corked bottle from the imkerei; batch L6146 Deep blond color. Deep honey aroma, alcoholic, lightly phenolic, soapy. It’s a semi-sweet Mead, but not syrupy; honey flavor (nothing special so far); the final gets just a bit drier, with a light bitterness to contrast sweetness, instead of some acid, and this is the first thing to avoid in Meads.
