3.8 Blue Lab Raspberry Lambic Almond, sherry, volatile nose. Hazy brown, headless. Red grape, almond, ash. Tart, light bodied, no carbonation. Cabarnet character really shows, but base beer is oxidized beyond recognition . Enjoyable though. Thursday, June 15, 2017

1.4 Blue Lab EJIIPA Draft at the brewpub. Dusty and opaque orange beer with little to no head. This presents itself as a rookie homebrew, lacking much body and suffering a bit of imbalance, coming across mostly as a musty, mushy concoction that at least falls short of going sour. Unfortunate first impression. (#6174, 4/30/2016) Saturday, April 30, 2016

3 Blue Lab IPA Growler purchased at the brewery. This ale poured a nice clear golden color with a small head and no lacing. There was a nice bitterness for the IPA. It did have a little taste of small batch beers. The body was medium and the carbonation soft. The finish was smooth with a hint of bitterness. These brewers work at W&L and one is a biologist. 2.9 Blue Lab IPA A good IPA, but very nondescript. It was a little hoppy, but not overly so. It was muted. Not watered down, just lacking that something that would have made it a better than good beer. As it stands it was just worse than a good beer. Average. It reminded me of you standard chain brewpub type of offering. Monday, October 8, 2012
