corkyrory66	0.5 Cerberus Mint u ! Black ipa de 5,8 % abv, avec de la menthe. Mon exemplaire était à 11 mois avant sa date. Couleur marron très sombre, à l'opacité forte. Mousse beige, à flocons moyens, épaisse, stable à 4 mm. Arômes de malt torréfié, baies noires, cassis, chocolat au lait. 1ère bouche souple, sur café/baies avec une dominante herbeuse. Arrière-bouche un peu plus équilibrée. 2ème sur café, bois mouillé, moisi, feuilles rancies. Arrière-bouche déséquilibrée. 3ème sans aucun redressement de l'équilibre. Arrière-bouche plus "acceptable". Longueur qui continue avec cette nuance de moisi, très désagréable et fautive. Jambes lisses, courtes. Levure très faible. Alcool faible, il ne travaille rien. corkyrory66	3.8 Cerberus Galaxy Ipa en single hop, en l’occurrence ici le galaxy d’Australie. Le brasseur a décliné trois single hop en fait sur les mêmes malts, le même abv et ebu. Niveau abv de 6 % et ebu de 60. Malts pale ale, biscuit et flocons d’avoine. Mon exemplaire était à 6 mois avant sa date. Couleur orangé abricoté moyen (18 ebc), avec léger voile et matière en suspension (forte saturation au décapsulage). Bulles fines, en diverses colonnes droites, dont certaines partent des parois. Mousse beige clair, épaisse, crémeuse avec structure ferme en haut, stable à 8 mm. Arômes de mangue, lichee, ananas, malt cara, pointe de miel de tournesol. 1ère bouche plutôt pétillante, à l’amertume plus verte que le nez, mais très précise et fine, avec un rétro-nez fruité. Arrière-bouche très fine, à l’amertume incisive. 2ème au très beau nez fruité. Bouche élégante, assez ample. Arrière-bouche détaillant bien l’amertume, mais la pointe verte insiste. 3ème plus citrique, moins fine. Arrière-bouche assez longue. Longueur plus aqueuse, moins équilibrée. Jambes à gros flocons, assez collantes. Levure fruitée, fine, belle ligne. Alcool correct, il est progressif et soutient l’ensemble. Finale qui donne une amertume de style, mais plutôt verte. CONCLUSION : cette version galaxy est pour moi assez moyenne, mais l’idée de comparer les houblons dans une même série est intelligente et intéressante. Tuesday, November 22, 2016

I needed an imperial pint glass for a 33cl bottle and still there was some beer in the bottle. Big head, short retention though, some lacing. Roasty, coffee, caramel aromas. Moderate head retention, poor lacing. Caramel and solvent like off aromas. Medium body, average carbonation, oily texture.
