Flavour has grainy malt, some butter and some unpleasant harshness from hops I find hard to describe. But at least I can tell it happens sometimes with German pilseners. TBone	2.9 Herborner Brauhaus Spezial Bottled 500ml (BB 05/2011) Golden color, small white head. Unclean buttery aroma when cold, then when warms up, honeyish, almost bready. Medium-bodied. Moderately sweet and slightly bitter flavour, light to medium bodied with a crisp carbonation. Straight malty taste with traces of honey far in the background and grassy and slightly herbal hoppy spice; dry-ish sweet-bitter finish with notes of metal.
