promontor	4.3 armando_otchoa's Grabanc IPA 10th anniversary edition of Grabanc, brewed at Reketye. 0.44l bottle from Csakajósör. Nice, thick off-white head. Hazy, orange or dark orange body. Moderately fruity aroma, a bit of grapefruit. Pine and yeast is actually somewhat stronger. Some bready sourness as well. Taste is bittersweet, starting with fairly strong malty base with honey, but then strong, somewhat spicy bitterness takes over. Bitterness also dominates the aftertaste, but you can still feel the malt in the background. Silky mouthfeel, moderate carbonation and fairly strong alcohol warmth for this ABV. Altogether somewhat "old-fashioned", especially the moderate fruitiness, but nevertheless a very well composed IPA that manages to find a very enjoyable harmony between the strong malty base and the even stronger hops. dr.dod	4 Szent Andrási Sörfőzde / armando_otchoa Vári Nővérek SPA 500ml bottle, this time 38 IBU. It is a complex, orange colour beer with hard body. There are citruses in taste, but honey malt and some piney hop. Very nice! Sunday, June 14, 2020
