Bier Haus Bagira
Nearly black body. Thin mocha head. Has a chocolatey, roasty fudge character of a decent stout. Good body, not much bitterness but chocolatey, sweet and smooth. Nicely balanced in this context, with plenty of flavour. Good stout.

Cloudy light tan with a thick head. Billed as a krepkoe. Mixes funny lime notes with strong footy, yeasty notes. Quite yeasty, but the alcohol cuts through it a bit, making this fairly well-balanced. Not bad.

Hazy dark amber-brown with no head. The aroma has some caramel and light toast. Sweet, with some decent caramel notes and a soft body. Maybe a vienna, just described as a krasnoye.

Hazy, pale, big head. Glows nicely in the sunlight. The aroma has some yeasty kit-beer notes, as does the palate. It’s relatively sweet, doughy and underattenuated. Faulty but not objectionable.

Draft @ brewpub. Hazy yellow, nice head and lace. Aroma could use some work. Has a touch of pedio and is too yeasty. But the bigger body and ABV works in its favor, Tastes like a kit beer with high gravity, sweet and yeasty but stronger. Not sure how it comes together but it’s drinkable enough.

Draft @ brewpub. Called "stout." Nearly black with tan head, and looks like a porter. The nose follows, with nice portery malts, subdued and dry with coal and mild cocoa. Not sweet. Soft creamy palate. Very nice cocoa and coal flavors. Mellow and drinkable.

Draft @ brewpub. Golden and hazed with nice head. Yeasty and sweet but inviting, still with mild cereal. Thin and inconsequential body. Very cerealy without having any harshness. Is easy to drink.

@ brewpub. Rusty-amber color. Rather flat. Aroma is resinous. Not clean but inoffensive. Almost like a barrel infection. Oily palate. Just slight effervescence. Strange beer. Flat. Tastes like it’s been in wood. Resinous, a bit of licorice root. Some minerals. Decent amount of bitterness. Slight pedio or similar infection. Has a strange character. It’s not bad, and is even intriguing, but there is definitely something odd about it.
