Mjollnir	2.9 Thirsty Crow Chocolate Vanilla Milk Stout Can. Pours clear dark red-brown with no head. Nice aroma of malt, roast and milk chocolate. Fairly subdued flavour, malt and dark fruit, mild sweetness and bitterness, a little roast and hoppy leafiness. Light-medium body, a bit watery, very soft carbonation and a slightly astringent finish. Thursday, June 24, 2021

Taste: bitter cocoa, vanilla, cream, roasted malt, toasted grain, very mild espresso flavours. Medium to full bodied. Mild sweetness followed by a mild grainy bitterness. TedE	3.6 Thirsty Crow Dark Alleyway IPA Middie on tap at The Royal Albert, Sydney. Dark dark brown beer with thin white head. Faint nose of fruit, but really faint. Full-bodied and earthy and malty on the swallow. Taste builds into a parade of different hops. Long complex finish is one to savour. Excellent and enjoyable IPA. Friday, September 29, 2017

Taste: Sweet malt, mild citrus, mild honey flavours. Thin body. Mild sweetness. Mild bitterness that linger at the back end of the palate. Moderate carbonation. Taste: Pine, citrus, grapefruit, peach flavours. Medium body. Resinous texture. Mild sweetness followed by moderate bitterness that dominates the back end of the beer. Very tasty. Really well dry hopped. Subtle notes of grain as well. Taste is passion fruit, tropical fruit, and grain. Good bitterness up front. Not really a kolsch, more like a pale ale but pretty decent. Bready feel in the end. Light bodied. Prickly carbonation. Nice beer. Easy to drink. Thursday, March 31, 2016

fletchfighters	3.7 Thirsty Crow Dark Alleyway IPA on tap at Thirsty Crow. Black with light ruby highlights. Thick light tan head that is more a collar. Nose is Assertive pine and grapefruit with light notes of roast and coffee. Taste is again very aggressive pine and grapefruit, soft notes of roast, char, chalk and coffee. Somewhat oily but finishes dry. Touches of coffee acid and lingering bitterness. Not as chalky as other BIPA’s out there. Best beer I had at the Brewery today Saturday, August 8, 2015

Nose is coffee, espresso, roast, vanilla marshmallows. Massive sweet nose. Taste is vanilla marshmallows, sweet espresso, lactose, and coffee. Bold and assertive but quite sweet. However, it was a delicious, smooth drinking stout. I don’t always handle lactose in beers, but that wasn’t a problem. Color is black hole black, sucks light from the room. Thick brown creamy head that you could float a marshmallow on for about an hour. Aroma of rich 70% cacao melted into an espresso. Taste starts with a piney nip then some malt sweetness and bit of grain. Nice bitterness and a clean finish. Medium body, crisp and quite flavorful. Nice beer for the style. Quite enjoyable.
