PorterPounder	3.3 Saddlebock Oktoberfest 3/27/21 - Springdale, Ar - on tap at Saddlebock. Slight haze to the dark orange pour, light off-white head clings to edge of glass. Sweet aroma, hints of brown sugar. Traditional marzen flavor, sweet, some ripening vegetable funkiness, caramel and brown sugar. Thick enough mouthfeel. Saturday, March 27, 2021

PorterPounder	3.3 Saddlebock Arkansas Farmhouse 5/3/19 - Fort Smith, AR - Sodie's Wine & Spirits - 12 oz can. Medium golden, somewhat still pour, quickly fading off-white head. Aroma has some brown sugar sweet accents, some scuppernong grapes. Flavor runs along the same sweet vein, slightly boozy, some bubble gum sweetness, a touch of corn syrup. Decently thick mouthfeel. beer_rookie	2.8 Saddlebock Dirty Blonde Pours a honey gold color. One finger white head. Pretty good retention and lacing. Good carbonation. ~br>Aroma is bread and yeasty. Touch of sourdough. Cooked vegetable. Taste is yeasty. Bread crust. Cooked vegetable. Mouthfeel is light bodied. A bit too carbonated. Overall it’s not so good. It’s all over the place. beer_rookie	2.5 Saddlebock Maibock Pours a cloudy blonde color. Good white head, three fingers plus. Good retention, light lacing. Aroma is strange. Vanilla, sugared citrus. Honey hay. Sugar cookie is accurate. Frosted gingerbread cookie might be better. Taste is sweet at first, and turns metallic on the swallow. It’s hard to drink. It’s malty. It’s weird. Mouthfeel is medium full bodied. Sticky sweet, but metallic and notable alcohol. I can finish the bomber, but I don’t want to. Overall, it’s a beer. I might give it another try, from tap. wombat23	2.5 Saddlebock Maibock 22oz. bottle. Pours clear gold with a white head. I couldn’t really place the aroma but the first reviewer mentions sugar cookies, and I think that’s an accurate description, along with a bit of malt and spice. Taste: again, I yield to the original reviewer - suntan lotion is perhaps one accurate description of the taste. Maybe some honey and grass as well. Unidentified spices. GTAEgeek	3.5 Saddlebock Fayettechill Farmhouse 22 oz. bottle, brought back by Spurge. Thanks for the first AR tick! Pours dark mahogany, with a big, frothy, beige head. The nose is caramel, black cherries, anise, spruce, and some mineral notes and earthiness. Fairly sweet and assertively bitter, giving it a nice, dry finish. Medium body, slightly astringent, hard, and sticky. This is a hoppy and strangely roasty saison. Unique, and pretty tasty, although it’s a little harsh. Thursday, July 7, 2016

Nu2CraftBeer	5 Saddlebock Winter Daze I drink hard liquor whenever I do partake of alcoholic beverages. So, When i came across this seasonal brew from Saddlebock. The SB Winter Daze Vanilla Oak Bourbon Porter, I just had to buy a bottle as a gift, because of the fancy bottle. I was blown away by the strong flavor of the bourbon, but while holding on to the flavor of the beer. Myself and a few friends polished off a bottle in no time. Review stuff: It smells really nice, you can pick up the bourbon whiskey notes right away. it is a dark color beer, but not as dark as a stout, meaning more of a dark brown, but not to close to black. has a medium head when pouring from a bottle. I think I’m trying to say there is not much foam on top but enough to keep the aroma right under your noise for the whole glass. taste was amazing. a beer with a whiskey finish, without the burn. it goes down smooth, with a hint of sweetness. overall it was/ is great. this one is a beer i will drink again!! Wittales	3.4 Saddlebock IPA Appearance was clear orangish gold with creamy lasting white 2 finger head, spotty lacing. Aromas are bright floral citrus, candy-like sweetness with clean yeasts profile. Taste are orange marmalade, tangerine, lemon blast upfront with tangy mineral water mid sip. Soft malt sweetness backing with a medical hop/water bitterness that’s a touch off. Palate was smooth creamy CO2 with light-medium body, then lasting tangy mineralized bitter finish. Overall good nose but the water or hop doesn’t live up to the nose. Sunday, November 29, 2015
FaQFatHo	3 Saddlebock Arkansas Farmhouse 22 oz bottle into a snifter. Pours an opaque rusty red. Moderate carbonation with a medium small head, that fades without disappearing. Laces the glass quite nicely. Only aroma that hit me was caramel. Taste is sweet on the tip of the tongue with hops on the palette, but not very strong like an IPA. Goes down smoothly for a big beer. Fair warning, the head change hits you about halfway through the glass. Very decent beer. Monday, September 28, 2015

reggiedunlop	3.2 Saddlebock IPA Pours a clear orange color with a medium white head. Aroma is tangy and citrusy with notes of grapefruit and tangerine...slightly perfumey. jake65	3.3 Saddlebock Arkansas Farmhouse Bottle, courtesy of Jackl - thanks! First glass is a bright translucent golden pour with a large white(ish) head. Second glass got a little cloudy as this was packed with sediment. Nose is mostly yeast, some bits of dust and grain. Taste is still yeast forward with more florals opening up, a little dust, and an earthy graininess. Couldn’t pick up on the grits, but honestly I think I’ve have grits maybe twice. The flavor is pretty fruit forward, surprisingly, with gentle tartness, yeasty mild bitterness and slight peppery bite. BOSSbrewer	4 Saddlebock Winter Daze Bottle purchased at Guess Who? in Bentonville and shared with the boys at Porch Nite. Pours a dark brown with one to two fingers of tan head. Aroma has slight roast, but more malty with some bourbon and some vanilla. Notes of some spices - also, though not a spiced beer. Medium to full bodied and creamy mouthfeel.
