Lindenbrauerei Meßstetten Die grüne Kraft der Alb
Bottle 50cl, trade by Quack-Duck. A clear yellow beer with huge head. Nose is grainy. Aroma is sweet with wet paper notes, grassy and peppery hops, dry grassy bitterness at the finish, quite basic on my point of view.

Thanks to quack-duck for that one! Bottle looks simple but okay. Beer in the glass zippy, nice head. Starts mild, dry-hoppy, bitter background. Some light fruity hints of lemon. Finish still mild but not washy, grasy-hoppy. Okay.

Bügelverschlußflasche (von Stefan!): Cloudy, golden, mid-sized yellowish head, sweetish-sourish grainy-yeasty nose; light to moderate sweetish-bitter flavour, quite light bodied, but quite soft; slightly lingering hoppier and fruity-yeasty finish. Not really convincing…

Lindenbrauerei Meßstetten Export naturtrüb
Bottle 1L from Quack-Duck thanks ! A cloudy yellow orange beer with good head. Nose is hopy and yeast like. Aroma is grainy, malty and sweet, caramel hints, good naturtrub beer, fresh bread notes, peppery hops, slight fruit notes at the finish on peach or apricot, light acidity / yeast phenols, nice round bitterness remains on aftertaste, the lagers as I really appreciate to taste.

*** GERMAN BEER # 3.000 *** To celebrate my 3.000th German rating I decided to finally visit the recently re-opened Lindenbrauerei in Meßstetten and try their beer. 1l bottle fresh from the brewery. Hazy golden colour, quickly diminishing, fluffy white head. Malty aroma, slightly grainy. Medium-bodied, grainy malt flavours with a pleasant bitterness towards the end. Mild, yet with some nice hop flavours. Rather lively carbonation, perhaps still a young beer? Nevertheless quite ok.
