Nose - meadow flowers going into pot pourri, and maybe some lemon. Taste - now drinking pot pourri. Some herbs and citrus too. Palate - light bodied. Sweet middle. Dry finish. Overall - quite nice. imdownthepub	3.2 Treboom Summer Gold Cask conditioned at The Swan, York. Gold with white head. This proved to be a malt lead beer, cereals, grainy, quite thinnish on the palate. There is a note of hops but relatively thin and vague on the palate. Easy drinking and light for a sunny evening so okay overall. Thursday, September 10, 2020
Martinsh	3.9 Treboom Hop Britannia Bottle at home – Christmas present from my brother Well the start is innocuous enough, just some dark citrus in the nose. Pours a golden yellow with a small white head. But the strength is in the flavour – it has a real bite. Loads of hops giving bitterness, plus pine needles and some orange fruitiness. A really dry finish as well. This is what a hoppy beer should taste like. Friday, May 1, 2020

Martinsh	3.1 Treboom Yorkshire Sparkle Really Pale Ale Bottle at home (gift from brother) Nose has fresh earthy hops. Pours a very pale, slightly brownish, yellow with a frothy generous white head. In the mouth, there is an initial flavour of lime and cola, before bitterish lemon comes powering through. There is more lemon here than in my lemonade ! Lemon and apples in the finish. BlackHaddock	3.8 Treboom Baron Saturday 500ml bottle, bought at the brewery and poured into an Abbot Ale glass tankard at home on 21st Aug 2018. Bottle conditioned, so poured carefully, deep ruby body, huge foaming tanned head. Aroma held both coffee and chocolate esters within the malty nose. The taste also leaning towards coffee and chocolate flavours, mild liquorice notes once you start searching for them (after reading the rear label on the bottle). It's a nice easy drinking Porter with a robust rather than smooth body feel, liked it. Tuesday, August 21, 2018

BlackHaddock	3 Treboom Avant Garde 9th July 2018; Shrewsbury Beer Exchange Group meeting in Chez Sophie. Cork and caged 75 cl bottle from the brewery and taken by me to our little tasting session. Hoped for more from this to be honest, found it rather timid and unadventurous (but at least they had a go at a 'different style' of beer). Misty golden/copper pour, big white, fluffy head. Some honey like aromas and sweetness, slight herbal twist, but lacked a true 'farmhouse/farmyard' feel or flavour. Saturday, July 14, 2018

BlackHaddock	3.4 Treboom Hop Britannia 500ml bottle from the brewery, drank on 24th June 2018. One of a few beers sank after England beat Panama 6-1 in the World Cup. Copper hue to the golden body, snow white crown. Hoppy nose and initial taste, piney, woody and slightly fruity, malts appear mid sip and add some light sweetness to balance out the loaded hop content. Decent. Monday, June 25, 2018

BlackHaddock	2.9 Treboom Trommel 330ml can from the brewery, BBE May 2019. Poured into an old, tall (0.2 litre) 'Gaffel Kolsch' glass at home on 18th June 2018. Very pale blonde, clean and clear, large bubbles join to give a huge white head. No aroma, no taste, just like a real Kolsch! To be fair this is a refreshing, crisp Kolsch like beer and was never going to be a depth of flavour or heavy body. It's fine for the style. Monday, June 18, 2018
BlackHaddock	3.8 Treboom Kettle Drum 500ml bottle, from the brewery: BBE Dec 2018. Poured into an Abbot Ale pint glass tankard at home on 14th June 2018. Looked good in the glass, snow white blanket on a clear and bright copper body. Good bitter hop feel to this beer, light fruitiness in both the nose and taste. I like a traditional English Bitter and this fits the bill nicely. I hope the other five beers I purchased when visiting the brewery shop are as good as this! Thursday, June 14, 2018

Pale golden body, thin white topping of foam. Light citrus notes in both the nose and taste, more lemon leanings rather than anything else, refreshing in the afternoon sun. Sunday, May 6, 2018
