ManVsBeer	3 Allanwater Pot Black Cask @ Allanwater Brewhouse, Bridge Of Allan. Mahogany coloured with a creamy head. Very light stout character, and there's a bitterness involved in this one, Crisp and fresh, it's brewed with eight different malts and you can taste plenty of them Monday, May 6, 2024

jamesie1857	3.4 Tinpot Pot Black 500ml bottle from Scottish Ale Shop in Kilmahog as Allenwater Pot Black - opaque black body with a little tan head. Roasted notes, coffee, chocolate and liquorice, slightly smoked malts. Similar in the taste, a little watery, but all the same, very nice. Monday, September 11, 2023

Aroma is sweet buttery, caramel, toffee apple, oxidised, some age. Palate is semi sweet, thin, low carbonation.. The taste is dry, grainy, cereal, spice, grassy, apple, butter biscuit and soapy with a drying finish. Medium body and fine carbonation. Grainy and sweet. Pretty shit overall. Friday, April 5, 2019
Scopey	3.4 Allanwater Farmhouse Cider Draught at Allanwater. It pours cloudy apple jucue with a small bubbly white head. The aroma is sweet, juicy apple, apple pie, tangy action and apple cake. The taste is smooth, very juicy, ripe apples, capella apple juice, apple pie, light just, apple skin, tang and a touch of sherbet. Medium body and a hint of carbonation. Not a huge amount of depth, but it strikes a nice balance. I can barely taste any alcohol. Rather drinkable. Saturday, November 10, 2018
Scopey	3.2 Allanwater Mango Cider Draught at Allanwater. It pours cloudy mango juice orange with no head. The aroma is musty, farmyard, cider vinegar, loads of mango and fruit smoothie. The taste is sweeet, juicy, straight-up mango juice, fruit smoothie, ripe apple, touch of barnyard and dull note of cider vinegar. Medium bodied and flat. Mango juice meets cider. Rather drinkable, only spoiled by a touch of cider vinegar. Fun. Saturday, November 10, 2018
Scopey	2.7 Allanwater Sticky Toffee Apple Cask at Allanwater. It pours clear oily gold with a sml white head. The aroma is sweet, oily, toffee, butterscotch, toffee apple and tablet. The taste is sweet, oily, sticky, tart apple, toffee, butterscotch, apple, toffee apple, werther's original and apple skin with a drying finish. Light to medium body and soft carbonation. Thankfully not as sweet as feared, more fruity. Plenty of toffee apple. Fair. Saturday, November 10, 2018
Scopey	2.6 Allanwater Ale'oween Cask at Allanwater. It pours clear blonde with a thick white head. The aroma is warming spice, cinnamon, shaved nutmeg, clove, pumpkin, earthy, cake frosting and vanilla. The taste is firmly dry, quite spicy, cinnamon, cloves, earthy, soapy and tannin with a very drying, spicy finish. Medium body and soft carbonation. Quite the aroma, but the taste is harsh and has too much spice. Saturday, November 10, 2018
Scopey	3 Allanwater Blueberry Sour Sensation Cask at Allanwater Brewhouse. It pours hazy golden with a thick, foamy white head. The aroma is soft, sweet - sour, sherbet, blueberry, sweaty and hay. The taste is definitely tart upfront, sour blueberry, mouth - pucker, musty funk, straw, hay, slightly and mouldy basement. Lighter end of medium body and moderate, foamy carbonation. Not bad. Perhaps a touch dusty/musty, but fun to try. Saturday, November 10, 2018
Scopey	2.8 Allanwater Marmalade Cask at Allanwater. It pours very lightly hazy golden with a foamy white head. The aroma is fresh, oily, zingy, tangy orange, sponge cake and orange muffin. The taste is dry, bitter, pithy, zesty, orange peel aplenty, kumquat, slightly soapy and some toasty grain with a drying finish. Light to medium body and fine, foamy carbonation. Scopey	1.8 Allanwater Autumn Wheat Cask HP at the brewery. It pours clear yellow with a fluffy white head. The aroma is dusty wheat, bready, banana, banana foamy candy and somd clove rock. The taste is (unfortunately) sour upfront, fizzy fermenting fruits, green banana, lemonade, shandy and sour cola bottles with a drying finish. Light to medium body and foamy carbonation. Infected.... Scopey	3 Allanwater 80/- Cask, 4.5% at the brewery as Allanwater 80shilling. It pours deep. Mahogany brown with a thick, fluffy white head. The aroma is sweet, oily, cola, Dr Pepper, wood and cola cubes. The taste is dry, bitter - sweet, wood, leather stewed black tea, bit of cola, dr pepper and fruit cake with a some tannin on the finish. Light to medium body and foamy carbonation. The taste is firmly dry, bitter, pithy, soapy, grassy, floral, toasted grain, metallic with a soapy finish. Light body and fine, foamy carbonation.
