3.6 Matsunotsukasa Junmai Ginjo Raku Tasted chilled at a restaurant in Omotesando, Tokyo. Nice design bottle. Clear maybe a faint yellowish hue. Fresh smell with light winey notes. Aroma is light fruity (apple, pear) nice esters mild starch, young white wine. Structured body, smooth texture. Smooth fuity finish, light dry moderately alcoholic-solvent, quite warmiing still fresh. Nice. Wednesday, November 9, 2016

3.6 Matsunotsukasa Daiginjo Tosui Sake 720 ml bottle. 2009 vintage, bottled 2012. Peppery, spicy nose, light esters, fruity. Peach, melon, grape. A bit of rice. Clear, slightly oily looking. Mild and mellow, tasting aged, spicy, pepper, peach, honey. Quite hot with alcohol. Sweet, stewed fruit and gumball impression becomes bit rough at the end, almost tannic. Metallic too, and earthy. Interesting for sure, pretty good, though maybe not great. Very smooth, full body, though. Tuesday, June 5, 2012
