Graci Pear
A little uninspiring in the glass. Quite still aside a few random bubbles of varying sizes. The body a drawn out pastelly yellow that seemed just shy of bright. Initial piercing waft really tickles the nostrils. Underneath there is a pleasant, earthy, woody and rough, ripe pear fruit that has a lovely fresh picked appeal to it. It reeks of south-west orchards and the soil in which it grows in such a good way. Very sweet, tart and fruity in the mouth. Light bite of carbonation upfront otherwise its smooth across the palate. Medium-light body increases greatly as it warms and in my opinion it should be imbibed cool but and not chilled. The fruit shows a little of the character of the nose, the crisp swallow has lingering earth and oaken wood notes, a little fruit peel too. A wide birth from the Graci apple cider, this one I could easily find myself knocking back with alarming speed. A nice, clean pear cider. (33cL, BB 13/04/12, Thirsty Camel, Kingsley Tavern)

Graci Apple
Bright yellow-gold with few-and-far-between cabonation. Tart, tight apple nose, slightly salty/sweet, light oak, grape tannins. Similar in the mouth. Doughy, yet ultra-featherweight in body and sharp in carbonation. Lightly sweet, tangy and drawing. Tannins and acidity are high in this one. Finish is crisp, tart and very short. Very shy of depth. Too one dimensional for me. (33cL, BB 12/10/12, Thirsty Camel, Kingsley Tavern)
