Appearance is clear pale golden with a medium sized frothy beige head, that reduced fast leaving no lacing. Aroma of wheat bread and lemon zest. Flavours of wheat bread and a hint of corn and lemon zest. Taste is light sweet and light bitter. Palate is light bodied, thin texture and average carbonation. Solsidan Premium Dry is refreshing, tastes like what you expect from a lager, it’s unoffensive and unexciting. Could not detect any off-flavours, but with a green bottle results may vary. Now curiously this is a low carb beer, I wouldn’t have known unless I read the label,because it tastes like any other decent Pale Lager. So this would be a nice go to lager for the horizontally challenged man such as my self, but with the current pricing it’s unfortunately a little too expensive for that purpose.
