Cask conditioned at a Wetherspoons. Gold with white head. This is a light, relatively thinnish, simple bitter. Cereal malty notes, slightly powdery on the palate, a little boiled vegetable, caramel notes. There is a bittering hop note later on. It’s okay if a little too simple.

Cask (gravity dispense) at Egham Beer Festival, November 2012. I probably didn’t do this any favours by trying it after a run a quite powerful dark beers. Quite fruity and moderately bitter in an earthy, quite traditional vein. Fine but didn’t make a huge impact.

Gravity at the 13th Egham BF @ EUSC - 15/11/12. Slightly hazed mid amber with a thin off white head that clears to the edges. Nose is caramel malts, light hops - not a lot doing here. Taste is light caramel malts, a little fruit and hops, bready/biscuity kind of mash up. Light medium body a bit on the thin side. Boring.
