Keg at Beerdock Leek. A hazy golden colour with a medium white head. Aroma of elderflower, slight wheat, a little melon and subtle clove. Taste of elderflower, wheat, slight apple, melon and subtle straw. Light bodied and moderate carbonation. A dryish, elderflower wheat finish. Such a refreshing drink, elderflower is dominant here but not to much so it’s not overpowering. A touch of apple and melon too.

Cask at Pimlico Cask & Pub. Dark clear brown with fine skin of head. This seems to cut across the style guidelines, elements of bitter, mild, porter with a little fruity sweetness thrown in for good measure. First seems dark & roasty, then sweet, then hop bitterness. A bit of a conundrum.
