Aroma is slightly sour-ish sweet fruity, grapes, grass, cantaloupe melon, weeds, sorrel, old rope, citrus, bark. Taste is slightly dry and sour-ish fruity, weeds, wet hay, flowers, sour grass, sap, unripe cantaloupe melon. Medium bitterness, slightly watery floral mouthfeel. Fair enough, kind of strange. GBZ59	2.5 Birralta Maduixet is Dead Botella de 330ml. Copa Tulipa. saboreada en agt´13. color ámbar anaranjado y apariencia velada. Corona blanca y fugaz. Matices de caramelos, piel de naranja, pan fresco y notas ácidas en nariz. La entrada recuerda al zumo de naranja. Cuerpo lígero y carbonatación suave. Sutil toque especiado y muy bajo amargor. La astringencia de naranja permanece en el seco y amargo final. Retrogusto levemente afrutado. 330ml bottle. Tulip glass. Enjoyed on agt´13. Orangish amber color & veiled apperance. Brief crown, white in color. Hints of candies, orange zest, fresh bread & acidic notes to the nose. Orange juice-like at first sip. Light body. Soft carbonation. Subtle spiced & very low bitterness. berntholer	2.8 Birralta Maduixet ivory white head that disappears quickly with some lacing. straw-yellow orange slight turbid. sour aroma like white beer and wheat, faint smell of strawberries. slight sweet-sour, wheat. thin body and medium carbonation. short dry aftertaste with some strawberry. special it is, but strawberries and beer don’t make up that great a marriage imho. but for a fruit beer quite natural. draft @ la tape Saturday, May 4, 2013
Periztripel	3.9 Birralta Maduixet El aroma a fresa se percibe a natural, color un poco turbio a causa de la fresa natural. Entra muy ligera y se aprecia el sabor a fresa madura en el retrogusto. Una cerveza muy facil de beber i diferente a una Kierk’s o linderman’s que parecen sabores artificiales que destrozan la cerveza, para mi gusto. Thursday, April 11, 2013

GBZ59	3.6 Birralta Maduixet Botella de 330ml. Vaso Tumbler. Saboreada en mar´13. Color dorado pálido y apariencia nublada. La espuma blanca crea una corona tupida, casi cremosa, con bastante buena retención. Perfil aromático muy agradable: intensa fresa madura, melazas, maltas moderadamente tostadas y crystal, especias y cítricos, asi como notas florales, de pan y toffees. Entrada de gentil malteado seguida por un amargo zumo de fruta con un toque de pan fresco. Cuerpo ligero y carbonatación moderada/alta. Las notas afrutadas en el intermedio aportan una leve acritud, que permanece hasta el final, redondeada por una astringencia cítrica. Matices de acritud de fresa en el retrogusto. Refrescante, deliciosa y nada empalagosa. Un bajo ABV que permite una asimilación muy buena. No soy fan de las Fruit beer; pero Maduixet me ha hecho cambiar de opinión. 330ml bottle. Tumbler glass. Enjoyed on mar´13. Pale gold in color, foggy appearance. White froth creates a close to creamy crown showing fairly good retention. Very gentle aroma profile: intense ripe strawberry, molasses, mild toasted & crystal malts, spices & citrics as well as bready, toffee & floral notes. Kind malty upfront followed by bitter citric juice & fresh bread touch. Light body. Moderate to high carbonation. Fruits in the middle provide an slight sourness that lingers into the finish rounded by citric astringency. Strawberry sourness on the aftertaste. Refreshing, delightful & no-cloying at all. Low ABV allows an easy drinkability. Not being a Fruit beer fanatic, Maduixet has changed my mind about them. Tuesday, March 19, 2013
