Typhoon Golden Ale
On tap - Typhoon bar - Dull golden colour with a noticeable vegetable (cabbage?) aroma. The taste isn't as bad as the smell, but is still not a particularly good experience and is a bit tart. This beer was served far too cold for me, and put me off trying any of their other beers.

Typhoon Alt
Malty yet somewhat thinnish. Lightly bittered. Overally, a very pleasant brew if you like Alts as I do. Good.

Typhoon Winter Wheat
Although the beer menu lists this merely as "wheat", I'm told by the manager that it's the Winter Wheat. Not sure I believe them since my rating will differ significantly from the others. This beer is extremely wheaty with a strong Belgian angle. You can taste what appears to be Belgian yeast along with a German hefe flavor. Odd, but I'd drink another. It was also warm when I got it. Could the beer be infected?

Typhoon Pale Ale
Caramel butterscotch aroma, sickly in a way, enticing in another. Decent body. Surprisingly non-hoppy flavors, malty and oddly fruity.

Typhoon Golden Ale
Clear yellow color, little head. Aroma of grape and insecticides. Flavor brings in some dirty notes. Later it hits more and more like a dull American lager, but it at least has aspired to greater things and thus has achieved a slight measure more.

Typhoon Summer Wheat
Lively head, slightly limp palate. A gentler aroma than its flavor, which hits hard of artificial banana candy and a bit of bubblegum. Hazy, deep yellow color. Not a bad take on a hefe, all things considered.

Typhoon Pale Ale
The only thing this beer has going for it is the color. It looked like it should be. Boring beer.

Typhoon Golden Ale
Looks and tasted like the style. Nothing special at all about this beer. This brewpub is going for the NYC Bud drinkers with this one.

Typhoon Pumpkin Ale
Lots of cinnamon in the nose and flavor. Pretty appealing deep pumpkin orange. Average palate. Not hoppy at all. You wouldn''t want more than one of these -- more of a dessert beer.

Typhoon IPA
Dark amber. Well bittered but not super hoppy. Dry. Perhaps the best beer here, but that''s not saying much.

Typhoon Winter Wheat
An unusual wheat. Marzen colored and clear. Good body and nicely hopped. Doesn''t look much like wheat. Nutty.

Typhoon IPA
Pretty damn bitter. Yeah, I''m aware it''s supposed to be that way, but somehow I couldn''t get all that enthused about it. Maybe it''s because the Texas Longhorns were getting beat on the brewpub TV by Oklahoma at the time I was tasting this beer. Can''t know for sure, but it seemed one-dimensional, sort of like an Imperial IPA.

Typhoon Righteous Red
Ahhh, a terrific red ale. Fairly sweet and red like the setting Autumn sun. Extremely mind and lightly carbonated. Terrific. This is their best brew, IMHO!

Typhoon Pale Ale
Tad waterier than their IPA. Disappointing. Semi-bittered. Forgettable stuff from a forgettable brewpub. P.S. I think their beers are brewed by Chelsea Brewing.

Typhoon Golden Ale
A bit crisp and perhaps citric. Hops are noticeable but not prominent. The bartendender told me this is their biggest seller!? Why? Perhaps because it''s the closest thing they have to Bud.

Typhoon Summer Wheat
I very tasty German-style hefeweizen from a mediocre brewery. This brew is extremely wheaty and totally unlike an american wheat. Nice.

Typhoon Righteous Red
Deep reddish/dark amber with a fat creamy off white head. Malty aroma laced with earthy hops. Too winey, not much hop balance. Very strange fruity flavor, after a promising start. Sampled after the excellent Thai food was devoured (not too spicy though) which may have skewed the flavor profile. Still, a weird mix of flavors.

Typhoon Winter Wheat
Slightly hazy light orange. Lightly frothy white head. Moderate carbonation. Wheaty aroma, some citrus, sans lemon slice. Clean and refreshing wheat flavor and clean body. Tasty wheat malts, some light citrus elements. Very respectable American wheat, which I tend to loathe.
