Can from LCBO. Pours somewhat hazy pale golden hay with fast dissipating off-white head. Nose... grainy but also somewhat dirty, muddy and corny. Tastes less as offending, corny-grainy. Hints of citrus. Crisp, watery. Finish grainy dry. Pretty much alright...

Can from LCBO. Pours near clear dark caramelly orange with small off-white head. The aroma’s sweet, cereals and caramel, tastes pretty sweet too, again grainy and caramelly. Very crisp, malty dry. Good in a way that it’s not offending. Not exactly enjoyable though.

Nice gold clear pour, pillowy white head, sparkling like crazy. Smells light and grainy. Slightly sweet, okay carbonation, grainy flavour, dry finish. Light bodied. Better if drank quickly, a bit meh.

A tin in a bar at Blue Mountain, Collingwood, Ontario. Not a beer done any favours by its tin. Nothing distinctively Alt to it. No maturity. Too simple and reliable. No flaw but no statement either.

Very clean, and crisp, but a little Watery. Pale pils malts, some light grassy hops. A tad too bitter for the style I found, and a tad metallic in the finish.

Can from the lcbo. Clear dark brown pour, with a small off white head. Aroma is caramel, lots if malts, and cereals. Light grassy hops, actually a tad malty I find for an alt, this is leaning towards a malty bock. Good mouth feel, and food carb. Finish is sweet, and bready, with decent caramels. A good beer but a touch malty for the style.

Where and how: OBA / can 473 ml
Aroma milder than most of alts. Nice hop notes, faint malt work. 7-
Appearance :
Top: mid lighter off white top.
Base: clear, light brown ale.
Palate : tad chewy, lighter carbonation.
Taste: not enough Noble hops, leave dark bread feel of an ale that happens to be dark .
Other notes pedestrian approach to style?

473 ml can from LCBO, served cool in a tulip glass. Clear pale golden with a decent bright white head. Sulphur, light sweet malt, a little floral and herbal, on the higher end of the spectrum for lthe style. Medium body, full, rounded carbonation. Similar to the nice with pleasant sweet grain, a bit of sulphur, slightly assertive, peppery hops, lightly floral; dry with moderate bitterness and a nice grainy, floral finish. A bit heavy-handed for a Koelsch, still quite affable.

473 mL can at the Pig’s Ear. Looks nice, although the head disappears quickly. The malt is decent, but requires more hops at all points of the boil to be considered an American Amber, which is, I think, what they are going for.
