3.5 Whistling Kite Stout of Order Gravity cask at the Little Ale House, Wellingborough. Very dark brown with a rainy tan head. Liquorice aroma with blackberry and a hint of sweet coffee. Sweet with more liquorice in the taste, but the finish is a little bit more bitter to put a clean, balanced coda on the sip. Oily body. Very good stout. Saturday, December 3, 2016

4 Whistling Kite Wet Your Whistle Lovely looking dark/ruby ale. Aroma and taste heavy on malt. Feels substantial in the mouth and tastes as though it’s stronger than 3.8%. Went in to the Hare at Loddington for a pint. Stayed for 3 and returned the next week this one was so good. Saturday, May 10, 2014

3 Whistling Kite Honeymoon Cask conditioned at Leicester Beer Festival ’14. Hazy gold with white head. This was a fruity, peachy, quite tarty beer, teeth coating acidity. Tasted a little raw to me. Monday, March 17, 2014

3.6 Whistling Kite Wet Your Whistle Cask conditioned handpump Rushden Historical Transport Society Rushden 08/04/13. A dark brown coloured beer with an off-white head and lace. A malt lead beer. Fruity and a bit grainy. Dry coffee flavours. Pretty tasty with a long finish. Heading towards old ale territory in many ways just without sweetness. Saturday, April 13, 2013
