1.5 Chevatlán Franciscana Ugly mud amber, no head. Sort of a toasted sesame seed nose. Sweet, alcoholic, tart, definitely doesn’t come together. Sadly, a mess. Monday, March 2, 2015

3.2 Chevatlán Munich Bottle, 355ml. A dark orange beer with a huge frothy head. It is so big it gets out of control and I had to wait a couple of minutes to appreciate the aroma. It has a fruity aroma with orange zest, lime and citrics. Taste is somewhat bitter and somewhat sweet. It goes towards the bitter side at the end. There is some carbonation and astringency. Very drinkable. Friday, August 1, 2014

3.2 Chevatlán Munich Bottle, 355ml. Murky copper with a tall, frothy offwhite head. Intense sweet malt aroma, with hints of citrus zest, green grapes and licorice. Medium bodied with moderate carbonation. Sweet and spicy, with low bitterness, and an earthy alcohol character. Well brewed and very drinkable. Friday, August 1, 2014
