The Big Rip ORC (Oatmeal Raisin Cookie) 3.7
Rating #3,300. Growler courtesy of scotter at a tasting. The pour is super hazed brown, muddy looking almost. The aroma is soft oatmeal, raisin and sweet malt. Nose is true to the name, this does indeed smell like an Oatmeal Raisin Cookie. The taste is the oatmeal raisin blended right away, with quite a bit of sweetness and a clean malt finish. The palate is medium bodied, soft to low carbonation and a clean finish. Tasty and fun beer. Thanks for sharing this Scott, the best beer I have had from Big Rip yet.

Braudog
The Big Rip Aisle 12 West Coast IPA 2.5
Draft at the brewery. Decent visuals started this off right, but I wouldnít have guessed this an IPA at all. Thereís more of a caramel maltiness to this than anything else. And after a little while, I start picking up a little buttery mushiness in the finish, although not quite as bad as in the other IPA I tried. Iíd give it another shot, but had to go. (#5902, 12/20/2014)

Braudog
The Big Rip Delta 88 IPA 2
Draft at the brewpub. Wow, this is a giant malt ball with little Americanized hop character. Something is definitely off here, too ... the finish has a definite buttery note, not leaving the palate any memory of the beerís positivies. Whatís a "cross between a single and a double IPA" mean anyway? (#5901, 12/20/2014)

The Big Rip Biere de Garde 2.8
Caramel color with a white ring head. Filtered looking. Some earthy and bubblegum notes in the aroma like sorachi ace. Its hefe like, but darker and has a moderate palate. One nice thing is its very smooth and flavorful. The juxtaposition of caramel malts, and/or wheat(yeast)/sorachi hops is just catching me off guard. I have big hopes for this brewery though.

The Big Rip Mr. Fancy Pants English Pale 2.7
Deep copper/amber tone with a white enough head that goes for days. Stinky aroma like mosaic hops, but probably something else. Think gym. Good lacing. Thankfully it tastes better than it smells. Those Brits. Its got a frothy body, so a lot of action on the palate.

The Big Rip Gluten Free Traminette Grape 3.5
Caramel color, thin white ring head. Toffee aroma takes over the senses. Toffee flavor followed mlby some maple/molasses maltiness. The grapes provide a ni e tartness on the finish. For an imperial GF beer its bad ass and for any beer its super badass otherwise. A remarkable accomplishment in brewing history. Everyone should have the luxury of enjoying this beer at his own free will.

Shaker pint draft at the brewery taproom in North Kansas City, Missouri. The pour is lightly hazed copper with a smallish off white head. The aroma is cereal grains, dry grassy bitter hop, and a nice mineral character. The taste is a nice fresh blend of the cracker malt, the grassy bitterness and finishing with the mineral earthiness. The palate is medium bodied, a bit low on carbonation, and the dry mineral finish. Nice one.
