Die Bezeichung helles Lager stimmt nicht ganz, da es eher nach einem typischen Märzen anfühlt.

Dačický Kutnohorské Výčepní Tmavé 10°
Draught at Dacicky in Kutna Hora, 2006. Full of rich malt taste. It’s not really sweet, just a touch of sweetness, just the way I like it. It’s not overpowering at all. Has a dry, roasted taste, moving towards a Porter. But it is still relatively light, and very good with goat cheese. Love it.

Bottled. Golden colour with mediumsized white fluffy/creamy white head. Aroma is strongly malty with some fruity and yeasty notes coming in. Flavour is is the same, but has a big grassy/wooden hoppy kick in it. A wellbalanced and pleasant Bohemian pilsener.

Bottled. Ambery brown colour with small brown fluffy/bubbly head. Aroma is sweet malts, some rather sugary notes as well as some caramel. Flavour is very much the same. Mild hoppyness trying to balance up the sweetness a bit.

bottle from Pivní Galrie, Praha. Clear golden colour, very very large and creamy head, very persistent. Really unusually large for a 14° speciál. Full-bodied, st first very malty and sweet with a touch of fruit, then with an intensive hoppy bitterness. The contrast of the sweet and bitter flavours make this beer very interesting. Lovely!

Draught at BBF06. Clear chestnut colour. Stable light brown head. Roasted flavour, a bit sweet. High carbonation. The bitterness is a little high for a Tmave. 6 3 6 3 12

Draught at BBF07 as Dačický Dunkel. Very dark brown colour. Small bubbly light brown head. The flavour is nicely sweet with a hint of brown sugar. Not very roasted. The aftertaste has a little metal, but it seems to disappear after a little while. Well-balanced. 6 3 6 3 14

Dark brown beer with a thick tan coloured head. Very malty, brown sugar and molasses taste. Full-bodied and slightly sweet. Finishes fairly clean with a hint of perfumey hops and caramel flavour. Simpley than many of the dunkel I’ve been drinking in the Czech Republic, but still very good.

Light nose, dark but clear deep brown, frothy tan head. Late arriving chocolate malt with little hop, but some coffee bitter. Improves as the glass warms (was served too cold) Thin and straightforward profile. Pretty good session beer.

Dark color with notes of amber, medium off-white head that vanishes quickly. Typical Czech dunkel flavor and aroma - roasted, coffee-like and a bit caramel-like sweetness. Smooth palate, medium body. Not the best Czech dunkel but decent overall.

(Bottled, 3.8% ABV) Very dark, deep red/amber color, small but tight and lasting head. Roasted- and caramel-malty aroma. Sweet, roasted-malty aroma. Lingering, dry and sticky finish. Medium-bodied, sticky palate. Not quite as complex and full-bodied as the best czech dark beers, but still enjoyable.

The aroma is lightly flowery with notes of hops and malt. The color is golden and it has a fine lasting head. The flavor is a good pilsener flavor; pretty sweet and rather bitter though the hops used is not a kind I like - it makes it rather sour in the end.

for some reason there is a lovec entered but it is definitely lorec. this started pretty normally with a sweet malt aroma and turned weird with plum brandy and cough syrup sweetness. made an instant impression in my gut
