3.2 Pig Pub Pale Ale Mosaic Gravity cask at the 2020 Leicester Beer Festival. Golden and clear, with only a small ring of head and the lightest suggestion of natural carbonation. The beer has a slight sweaty scent with light notes of apricot. Bittersweet taste with a fruity Mosaic note toward the end of the sip. Slightly more bitter in the finish, with soft carbonation. It's a decent little beer but could do with a bit more hop character, still as it is it's a decent easy drinking gold. Wednesday, February 26, 2020

1.6 Pig Pub Weiner Bitter Gravity, Hinckley BF, 13/09/13. Headless dusty brass. Acidic white wine, mouldy pine aroma with a touch of orange rind. Pretty bad. Off yeasty notes with mildewed dankness. Flat sour condition with Halls Mentholyptus that’s been through the wash a couple of times notes. Dank and nasty with antiseptic flavours. Sink had some. However, looking at Imdownthepub’s comments below, maybe a rerate at the brewpub is in order.... Monday, September 30, 2013
