DraftPours23	3 Gardians Grain rouge Robe ambré sombre, très léger voile, quasi limpide. Belle mousse ivoire, mais dure très peu. Belle carbo. Nez légèrement biscuité. En bouche, c'est rond, avec un léger côté miellé. Arômes plutôt légers, avec juste un ensemble plutôt soutenu par le sucre, mais rien qui ressort vraiment. DraftPours23	3.3 Gardians Grain Blanc Robe blond brillant, très légèrement trouble, belle mousse fine et crémeuse et belle carbo. Nez de céréale (riz), léger et agréable. Attaque maltée légère, notes de pain frais, de riz, côté fleuri. Facile à boire, typé et agréable, même si les arômes sont plutôt légers et se concentrent sur le grain. Sympa. DraftPours23	3.3 Gardians Grain noir Robe rouge très sombre, trouble, mousse correcte, brune. Nez plutôt léger, indéfinissable. Attaque acidulée, pas d'amertume grillée, la couleur ne doit venir que du riz. Très léger côté café, malt biscuité, peut-être suis-je même trompé par la couleur. Texture douceâtre, bon équilibre, goût particulier qui doit venir du riz. Agréable et plutôt délicate. Le grillé semble ressortir dans la longueur. Monday, September 16, 2019

Kita	3.2 Gardians Grain rouge Bottle, 0.33l. Clear deep amber color with small frothy off-white head and sparkling appearance. Aroma of caramel, dandelion syrup, dark fruits and cereals. Taste starts with moderate sweet grainy malt, caramel, deeply toasted, moutheel is spicy and slightly roasted, while some metallic notes are thinning the palate. Finish is mild herbal hoppy and really pleasant. Medium body, sticky texture and fizzy carbonation in palate. Surprisingly good amber ale... Wednesday, September 17, 2014

Kita	3.2 Gardians Grain noir Bottle, 0.33l. Clear dark brown color with large rocky light brown head. Aroma of roasted malt, coffee, dark chocolate and herbs. Taste starts with light sweet caramel and grainy malt, follows by roasted malt and chocolate with mild spicy mouthfeel and light herbal bitter finish. Medium body, oily texture and lively carbonation in palate. Sweet stout thinned by rice, therefore resembles me more of a dunkel... Tuesday, July 29, 2014

Aroma of cereals, citrus, mild herbal hops with papery notes. Taste starts with light sweet malt, follows by mild spiciness and grainy sourness, mouthfeel is quite plain, obviously thinned by rice, while finish is light bitter. Initially this comes across as a little malty. Fruity with a caramel flurry, some dark sugars, soft in the mouth a light to middling bitterness. A little thin maybe but not bad. Fin	2.8 Gardians Grain Blanc Bottle picked up in the Carmargue, Southern France, June 2013 consumed at home, Wednesday 13th November 2013 Golden with a white head, busy carbonation. Sweet lager and a bit corny is my initial thoughts. The aroma is like a cheap European lager which I guess is exactly what it is albeit with a sprinkling of Carmargue rice.
