Flavour is surprisingly strong in the raspberry and dark chocolate; some freshness from the mint. They really nailed the chocolate raspberry; fantastic. Monday, May 6, 2024
oh6gdx	3.4 Collective Arts Fuzz Face Sample (thanks omhper!). Hazy golden colour with a mediumsized foamy white head. Aroma is passionfruit, some white pepper, mild tropical fruits and some slight toast to it. Flavour is fruity, some nectary, wooden and mild alcohol tones with a bit nectar too. Sweetish, but with a mild bitter short kick in the finish. Saturday, May 4, 2024

fiery1	3.9 Collective Arts / Civil Society Origin of Darkness 355ml can @ the office. CANBIF 2021, thanks CaptainMurphy. Pours an opaque dark dark brown colour with a tiny tan head. Nose is loaded with cinnamon notes, followed by hints of marshmallow berries. Flavour is rich with spices, predominantly cinnamon, plenty of chocolate, and a slight red fruit aspect, there's a touch of whiskey in the background. Thick bodied, mild carbonation, and a moderately high sweetness with a dry cinnamon powder finish. Interesting and not bad. Wednesday, April 17, 2024

HogTownHarry	4 Collective Arts / Põhjala Origin of Darkness March 25, 2022 - at BeerBistro with Denver Dave, on draught. Black pour with a dark brown head. Initially the aroma was a little like nitro shaving cream - no idea what that was about - settled to alcohol, dark chocolate, treacle - thick sweet roast, a little tart fruit, plenty of alcohol. Taste is huge ripe plum riding over a solid impy. Decent body, light carbonation, medium roasty/alcohol finish - not really boozy, just solid choco/roast coffee stout with plum. Pours a dark brown with a brown head into the nonic pint. Aroma has big sweet malts, caramel, barrel, and maple, with some dark fruits. Taste follows, and is very sweet. The barrel & maple leap out. caribou43	3.9 Collective Arts IPA No. 21: Guava Mango Milkshake IPA This can is coming from Amstein, St-Légier, best before 04/23, opening it yesterday night, relax, at home, after a nice day in family. Pleasant yellow, gold troubled body, carbonation a bit weaker that you could expect, white foam. For me, it was a pleasant experience, this ipa is really smooth, syrupy, creamy, sweet and fruity with a clear influence of tropical fruits like mango amd passion fruit, guava, decent bitterness, citrus, a bit light, good. fiery1	3.5 Collective Arts Black Raspberry Wild Sour 500ml bottle @ home. Pours an opaque dark purple with a medium purplish head that dissipates fast. Nose is filled with pithy tart berries, and some wild yeast. Flavour is tart and jammy red berries, with a acidic aspect. Light bodied, ok carbonation, and a mild sweetness with a moderate sourness. Aroma is biscuit malt, peach, pineapple and pine resin. Taste is more peach, pineapple, pine and biscuit malt. Kleg	3.3 Collective Arts Stranger Than Coffee & Maple Syrup 16 oz can from Total Wine - Daytona. Pours a very dark brown color with a large beige head and excellent retention. Very good lacing too. Immediate aroma of dark coffee. The taste follows the nose: Coffee-forward flavor with no sign of the supposed maple flavor. It is a little sweeter than a typical coffee porter, but any would-be maple flavor is all but lost. I'm not a coffee fan, but this is smooth and clean and just sweet enough to work. Medium+ body. Flavour is wine gums, piney hops, and a biscuity sweetness. Medium bodied, good carbonation, and a moderate sweetness with a slightly more so piney bitterness. Pleasant taste - very very tart - unripe pineapple, light alcohol. Average body, light carbonation and acidity, quick tingly finish - refreshing - I was in the mood on a hot humid day.
