Arguably full bodied. Not dry. Dark fruit sweet. Lots of bourbon and toffee. Notes of aged oak and vanilla. Heat is present and tends to offset the malt. Smooth, tasty sipper. bhensonb	3.9 Taxman Qualified - Coffee Vanilla Can from Tavour. Pours clear brown with a slight tan head. Aroma is strongly coffee. Arguably full bodied. Flavor is coffee, banana, yeast spice and kandy. Dark malt too. The banana yeast\spice was a first impression rather quickly oerwhelmed by the coffee. Taste is chocolate, prunes, woody with some notes of bourbon. Bourbon more prominent in the aroma than the taste. Sweet, tingly, warming. Very tasty. Monday, April 1, 2024

Smells malty with notes of candies sugar, chocolate, oak, and a bit of vanilla from the bourbon barrel. Tastes like it smells with a bit of roast and eaters as well. Firm beige head slowly subsides to leave spectacular lacing. Aroma of sweet peach, oak and coriander. First sip brings notes of peach preserves, lemon peel, orange and coriander. Flavor is mostly cinnamon with some honey and bourbon. Malt is obscured. Rather unusual, but all the pieces combine into a tasty ale. Heat hardly noticeable. Thursday, October 12, 2023

The nose was roasted, mocha notes of cocoa and modest coffee, subtle yeast spice, dried fruit as plum & prune, bourbon, and barrel induced vanilla. Medium to full bodied, the taste was as the aroma notes, adding moderate sweetness, fair carbonation, well integrated bourbon, and balanced roast, dark fruit, and oaky bitterness. Better than medium bodied, the taste was as the aroma notes, with fair carbonation, texture that thinned a bit but wasn't syrupy, noticeable, somewhat mellow alcohol, and roasted, mildly earthy & oaky bitterness.
