Better taste; grilled aubergines, saline coffee, raw cabbage, coal. Thin body. Not great. Monday, October 13, 2014

2.7 Dem Bones Ellington's Extra Cask at EBF 18, 07/08/14. Mahogany brown with moderate light tan spotting and edgework. Nose is toffee, earthy vibes, light hop, not a whole lot coming off this one! Taste comprises muted hops, spice, light berry fruit, faint roast. Medium bodied, moderate carbonation, semi drying close. Mediocre stuff, not unpleasant, just not a lot happening in this beer. 2.7 Dem Bones Leicester's Own Cask conditioned at Leicester Beer Festival ’14. Gold with white head. This was a little heavy on the caramel front, drying with quite a butterscotch character. Not really to my taste. Sunday, March 16, 2014
