Spab	2.6 Barnstormer All Together 473 ml can from the brewery. Pours a murky deep, dark golden colour with smallish off-white head. Aroma is grapefruit and some tropical character but there’s an odd sweet chemically note. Flavour also has that off-putting harsh, sort of sweet note with some grapefruit and pineapple. Still feeling the disappointment of hitting this place up on a road trip & only finding four varieties (3 not so good, 2 in lcbos everywhere) in their fridge. This brew proves first class is overrated. If you like sugar & malts that taste like corn — think frosted flakes cereal — then you will love this. Otherwise avoid. Friday, September 7, 2018
Freaky_tiki	3.2 Barnstormer 400 Blonde Can from brewery. Filled just over a week ago. This beer finds me somewhere in the crossfire of meh & hey. The meh part is the style, the gateway blonde, the meek hop presence, the inevitable safeness of brewing for a middle of the road Barrie crowd. The hey is more of a surprise: a interesting grain profile that offers a distinct range of cereal flavours; the balance of grassy hops being met with a hint of citrus (like a squeeze of lemon). Crockett	2.8 Barnstormer Flight Delay IPA Suprisingly sweet for what details a 85 IBU. Pours hazy (almost murky) honey gold/browning beer with a big rocky foamed off white head. Good lacing. Nose doesn't say too much other than some dank leafy hop, and pine notes. Once you get drinking it, you notice that it's fairly heavy. Big mouthfeel. A tad under carbonated, which may amplify the sweetness. This can is definitely straddling the line when it comes to defining "cloying". It's very very chewy with hops. Then it's crazy sweet again. Antiseptic notes, very medicinal tasting. Kinda like a really edgy 90 Minute IPA. Not a smooth ride. The alcohol content isn't high at 6.5%, but this has the feeling of a IIPA. Maybe it's a session version of the style. ..... It flattens out really quick. A lot of detergent and weird acidic off flavours in the finish. Hard to enjoy this one. The 2005 ME may have craved this... but 2018 me poured half of it out. Tuesday, June 5, 2018

The aroma is straw, some herbal notes, tropical fruit, and weak citrus. The mouthfeel is medium bodied with average carbonation. The flavour is light grapefruit notes, earthy notes, and grass. chris_n_wyoming	3.2 Barnstormer Wind Shear Watermelon Wheat I went to a craft beer festival in the fall and wasn't finding anything that I was in the mood for so thought I would try the Windshear Watermelon. Surprisingly I enjoyed it. I can see how this would only appeal to a small group of beer drinkers so when I rated this I rated it as Beer Cooler and not beer. Of the fruity beer I would rank this better then most but it pales in comparison to my favorite beers. Soooo if you like this style of beer, give it a go. Thursday, March 29, 2018
